Aleatha has entered my world with a bang and she is staying there! Spectacular, mindblowing, suspensful!
Let me say I am so happy that I didn’t started reading this series when it first got released. My mind, heart nor soul wouldn’t be able to handle the wait between installments.
I honestly don’t recall any book that had me wrapped up this badly and kept throwing twist after twist at me and still had me craving for more. This was really though and my heart kept beating louder and louder and I had troubles breathing and I swear that wasn’t because of my asthma. There were REAL TEARS in my eyes and yes I know it sounds silly and stupid but that’s what this story did to me and I stand by it. I was reading like an insane person 24/7 but had to make small pauses because it was that emotionally draining.
I loved how Nox and Charli still had that strong and special connection even if they were separated and couldn’t even talk to each other. Charli found her inner strength and stood up for herself and was determined to help her mother and get control over what was rightfully theirs. Adelaide might have been out of it for the most the time but she knew the truth about her life and longed for the life she could’ve had for years. Oren showed his cards at last and he quickly became my favorite person in this book. He might not have been the best husband, the best father in the past but he has realized his mistakes and the results of his actions and has been trying his best to redeem himself and become a better person.
I really look forward to see more happy endings in this series besides Nox and Charlie’s. And all these alternative POV’s are amazing and made these books better and better. I love to get the insight in different characters mind and into their hearts. This story is that amazing and full of just EVERYTHING and if you haven’t read it yet than it’s about time to change that don’t you think? This series will go at the top of the best ones I have ever read!
