I'm naturally gifted on the field and between the sheets. With flashy cars and enough media attention to put the Royal Family to shame, I’m the definition of Most Eligible Bachelor.

I've never met a man who doesn't want to be me or a woman who doesn't want to tame me. Until I meet Camila.

From the moment I lay eyes on her, I know I have to have her.

She wants to keep me at arm's length.
I want her naked in my bed.

She thinks our worlds are too different.
All I want her to think about is screaming my name.

She says I’m bad news.

I have three weeks to prove her wrong.

Book Review: 5 Stars

The moment I set eyes in the cover of The Player I knew I had to read it. I wanted it, needed it, and when it landed in my kindle, I was happy dancing like a lunatic and showing off the beauty that I had in my possession! And Oh Boy, it was beautiful!

The Player is my first book from Claire Contreras and now I’m kicking myself for not reading her before, but… It’s never too late, right? And I’m so happy I started with this book because it was awesome. I totally loved it. I loved the beautiful writing, full of descriptions. The places, actions and emotions were flawlessly written along with one helluva plot, two awesome characters and one of the few sports I know about—and sometimes I hate so much because it paralyzes people here in Colombia and it’s freaking annoying, ugh…. Ok, but that’s not the point here—everything written about soccer in this book was very accurate and realistic and since I only watch European Futbol—in Spanish, thank you very much—I felt like watching a real match and reading about one of my favorite futbol players—Karim Benzema—so I could fantasize about him all over this awesome book *sighhhh*

So… The Player is the book of Warren & Camila. Warren was a soccer player, but not just any soccer player, he was the greatest. His career had been one of the most successful, therefore he had everything he wanted, women included. He never had to chase a woman until he met Camila. The moment they met, Warren knew he wanted her and she knew she wanted nothing to do with him, but he proved to her that he was more than a playboy, a player and that he was worthy of her love.

This is one of those books that made me want to be the female character and had the chance to have the kind of romance that Warren and Camila had. It was beautiful, and romantic, and sexy—Oh. My. God, Oh. So. Sexy. The sex scenes were super HOT—and everything. And the ending was just perfect.

All in all, The Player was the perfect book for me. I now have new additions to my book boyfriends and girlfriends collection, because Camila was simply amazing, and I for sure will read more books by Claire Contreras. I highly recommend it.
