A sassy, sexy, laugh-out-loud rom-com between the hottest man never to be tamed and the woman crazy enough to try

Taylor Reed is no stranger to selfish, uncaring CEOs. She was fired by one, which is why she has created her own executive training program—helping heartless bosses become more human. So Taylor shocks even herself when she agrees to coach Bennett Wade, the cutthroat exec who got her unceremoniously canned. She’d love to slam the door in his annoying but very handsome face, but the customers aren’t exactly lining up at her door. Plus, this extreme makeover will give Taylor the golden opportunity to prove that her program works like a charm.

Bennett Wade is many things—arrogant, smug, brusque—but trusting isn’t one of them. Women just seem to be after his billions. So when he hires Taylor Reed, he has no desire to change. Bennett is trying to win over the feminist owner of a company he desperately wants to buy, but something about the fiery Taylor thaws the ice around his heart, making Bennett feel things he never quite planned on. And if there’s one thing Bennett can’t stand, it’s when things don’t go according to plan.

They are a match tailor-made for trouble.

Book Review: 3,5 Stars

This was my first book by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff and also the first book in her new Happy Pants series, a light and sweet romance.

What started off as two unlikely strangers leads into a romance where both principal characters challenges each other. Bennett Wade is a hot billionaire bachelor always gets his way, a big  douche bag that later on redeems himself and let us see who he is: A man who has a beautiful and kind heart. Taylor Reed beautiful, funny, smart and feisty woman that has hit bottom. She lost her job and is trying to build her own business. Coaching CEO’s on how to be better bosses but, her new business is not doing well until she gets hired by Bennett. Then it begins, the war of wills between them, a journey that takes Bennett and Taylor around the world. It is also a journey of discovery, as these two break their walls and let into each other’s hearts.

The sexual tension between these two is in high levels. Bennett makes a point to never date his employees but keeping his hands off Taylor is almost impossible for him, ohh I loved the anticipation until they finally gave in

While this novel was well written and the characters very well developed, the ending was what didn’t add much to me because that plot twist I found it to be unnecessary. There was so much going on at the end that I felt they did not have the necessary time to resolve it. But I can say I liked the book anyway and I will recommend it for those who love romantic comedies and sweet romance.
