Emma Chase, New York Times bestselling author of the Tangled Series & Legal Briefs Series, returns with the first of three sizzling standalone books about a family of racy, irresistible Royals.

Nicholas Arthur Frederick Edward Pembrook, Crowned Prince of Wessco, aka “His Royal Hotness”, is wickedly charming, devastatingly handsome, and unabashedly arrogant—hard not to be when people are constantly bowing down to you.

Then, one snowy night in Manhattan, the prince meets a dark haired beauty who doesn’t bow down. Instead, she throws a pie in his face.

Nicholas wants to find out if she tastes as good as her pie, and this heir apparent is used to getting what he wants.

***
Dating a prince isn’t what waitress Olivia Hammond ever imagined it would be.

There’s a disapproving queen, a wildly inappropriate spare heir, relentless paparazzi, and brutal public scrutiny. While they’ve traded in horse drawn carriages for Rolls Royces and haven’t chopped anyone’s head off lately—the royals are far from accepting of this commoner.

But to Olivia—Nicholas is worth it.

***
Nicholas grew up with the whole world watching, and now Marriage Watch is in full force. In the end, Nicholas has to decide who he is, but more importantly, who he wants to be: a King... or the man who gets to love Olivia forever.

Angy’s Review: 5 Million Stars and more!!

five-stars

I love when a book is sooooo good, sooooo awesome, sooooo perfect, that you feel like your life wouldn’t be the same if this book weren’t in it, or you feel like with every word you read makes you fall in love harder and harder with that book and in the end you wouldn’t know what to do with yourself because said book is over, or you feel the need to go and find the author of that book and thank her/him because that book was the best thing you’ve ever read in your life. *sigh*

Well, that is what I felt with Royally Screwed. I fell in love with it, with the characters, main and secondary, with the story, and it felt like a real relationship, like a true love story between me and this book. We were meant for each other and our love will last forever and ever, until the end of times. *sighhhhhh*

And the best feeling of all is that I knew it would happen because this is a book written by Emma Chase. She did it with Drew, Matthew, Stanton, Jake, and Brent, and I knew for sure it would happen with Prince Nicholas, my new book boyfriend #1.

“This is crazy,” I whisper against him. “It’s crazy, right? It’s not just me?”
Nicholas shakes his head. “Bloody insane.” His hands are on my ass again—a final quick grab. “And fucking fantastic.”

So… After a happy dance and fangirling moment, I’ll talk about Royally Screwed, a real modern fairy tale—with a prince, a queen, a palace, and of course a perfect, happily ever after.

Oh, and he’s a prince. A real, live, actual prince—who kisses a lady’s hand and makes orphans smile…and who wants in my pants. Holy shit!

Prince Nicholas Arthur Frederick Edward Pembrook is the Heir to the Crown. He is the oldest brother of the two Princes of Wessco—I’m already in love with his little brother, Henry, I need his book Royally Matched right now—, his grandmother, Queen Lenora is wisely guiding the path to his duty of being King when the time comes, and that of course includes finding him the right woman to get married, a woman worthy of being in the Royal Family, worthy of being a Queen. But that isn’t what Nicholas wanted for himself, not now anyway.

And this is how this royal story begins: Nicholas is given five months to enjoy his bachelor status before he has to announce his engagement with one of the aristocratic ladies included in the list his Grandma set for him; he is sent to NYC to search for his little brother and bring him home—Henry has been discharged from mandatory military service three months ago and he hasn’t wanted to return home—and since he is in the States, he’d be attending some royal duty during his stay.

Fate—or royal duty, or the search for Henry, or his expiring bachelor status, whatever you wanna call it—brings Nicholas to a small cafe called Amelia’s, and there he meets Olivia, a young woman full of strength, passion, love, commitment with her family and the people she loves the most, and she captivates Nicholas in a way any other woman never has done before in his royal life.

Their romance is something made of perfection. Their chemistry, their funny moments, and later their true connection make them the perfect couple ever, sadly their relationship has an expiration date. But not to worry, fellow romance reader, I said earlier in this review, this book is a real modern fairy tale with the most beautiful and perfect HEA, so now you go, get it, read it yourself, experience the perfection of Royally Screwed and then come back here and tell me how right I am.

Amazing, mind-blowing, I’ve-literally-had-to-change-my-panties-at-work-reminiscing-about-it sex.
