Emma Chase, New York Times bestselling author of the Tangled Series & Legal Briefs Series, returns with the first of three sizzling standalone books about a family of racy, irresistible Royals.

Nicholas Arthur Frederick Edward Pembrook, Crowned Prince of Wessco, aka “His Royal Hotness”, is wickedly charming, devastatingly handsome, and unabashedly arrogant—hard not to be when people are constantly bowing down to you.

Then, one snowy night in Manhattan, the prince meets a dark haired beauty who doesn’t bow down. Instead, she throws a pie in his face.

Nicholas wants to find out if she tastes as good as her pie, and this heir apparent is used to getting what he wants.

***
Dating a prince isn’t what waitress Olivia Hammond ever imagined it would be.

There’s a disapproving queen, a wildly inappropriate spare heir, relentless paparazzi, and brutal public scrutiny. While they’ve traded in horse drawn carriages for Rolls Royces and haven’t chopped anyone’s head off lately—the royals are far from accepting of this commoner.

But to Olivia—Nicholas is worth it.

***
Nicholas grew up with the whole world watching, and now Marriage Watch is in full force. In the end, Nicholas has to decide who he is, but more importantly, who he wants to be: a King... or the man who gets to love Olivia forever.

“Nicholas is My Prince and I’m His Princess”

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

100000% Recommended!!!

Andi Arndt and Shane East were just perfect for Olivia and Nicholas. They transmitted every single one of their emotions flawlessly—the love, the passion, the anger, the disappointment, the relief—, and they also read Emma’s words with such conviction like they were written by them.

Andi has a beautiful voice, sweet and sexy, but also strong for when Olivia was being her badass self. Shane has the most amazing and sensual British accent ever!! I wasn’t so happy with him for Hardin Scott from the After Series but his smooth voice, his accent, his attitude in this audio is just so perfect for Nicholas.

Both of them made awesome inflections for the secondary characters. Andi’s British accent was really great too and Shane’s voice for The Queen was so stiff I almost thought it was actually an old woman talking instead of him.

What did you like best about this story?

Nicholas and Olivia’s romance!! I fell in love with them at the same time they were falling for each other. Every moment they spent together, every talk, every kiss, every time they made love, everything made me love them more and more with every passing minute <3 Theirs is really a true fairy tale <3

Which scene was your favorite?

So many fav scenes!! I loved when they met for the first time—Go Olivia!!, I loved when Olivia invited Nicholas to Coney Island, I loved when they told each other things nobody else knew, I loved the shaving scene, I loved the heartbreaking moment with Henry at the hospital. Sighhhhh I could go on, because I LOVED everything about this book.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There were two moments, the first one with Olivia telling about the burden with so much responsibility at such young age—not telling more because #spoilers, but I cried twice, the first time I read it and when I listened to it—, and the second with Henry’s experience when he was in the military service. He has such a beautiful heart and I can’t wait for his book #INeedMySecondPrinceNOW.

Any additional comments?

Royally Screwed is now my new #1 book from the amazing Emma Chase. I’ve loved all her books, and I’ve obsessed over all the men she has written, and RS and Nicholas are now my new obsession. I loved reading it as much as i loved listening to it. I loved the romance, I had googly eyes—just like Henry kept calling Olivia and Nicholas—every minute I was listening to this story, I cried and laughed and felt all the passion they felt. Royally Screwed is easily one of the best books I’ve read in my entire life <3

Jenn’s Audiobook Review: 5 Million Stars

Read Jenn’s Book Review Here.

I can’t even begin to explain how great the audio book version of the Royally Screwed is! Emma Chase hit the biggest of jackpots with getting Andi Arndt as Olivia and this insanely talented and captivating narrator Shane East as Prince Nicholas!!!

I am well familiar with Andi’s work and she has never failed to deliver with her performances. She has that warmness and kindness in her voice and her ability to transform it into angst, anger, desperation and extreme power is unexplainable. The way she used that “Wessconian” accent was so good and believable. She simply rocks…each and every time.

I was talking to a friend of mine and were to explain where in the book I was at that moment and was supposed to say “Olivia just threw a pie in Nicholas face” but ended up saying “Andi just threw a pie in Nicholas face”. That’s just how comfortable and relaxed I feel while listening to her narration which is a flawless task.

And then we have this narrator who is new to me and he just rocked my world completely. Shane East is a force to be reckon with! He was the PERFECT choice for this book and he nailed each and every one of the characters beyond amazing and every time he used that accent that had me travel back in time and right into Outlander world. I have the urge to google him and find him and stalk him….as a very, very friendly fan of course 😀 The more I talk about him and his crazy good performance will easily get a stalker points.

I loved reading this story and to listen to it made the experience even higher and better and I crave more of this fantastically magical series that should make it to big screen! I would spend my last dime and go back again and again.

I love Emma Chase!
I love the Royals!
I love all the feels this is giving me!

I can’t wait for the next two books! I want them here now, now, now! For God’s sake! I would recommend this audiobook with my whole heart and praise it with all the stars in the Universe because that is what it deserves and more.
