“Knock knock!”
“Um… Who’s there?”

Yeah. That was me, on my last date. Before you feel sorry for me
you should know that I was the one telling the jokes. Jokes as in
plural, because I didn’t stop with just one. Of course not.

Hi, I’m Chloe Scott. The most awkward single girl in the city.
But I’m going to get it together. I am.

I’m going to learn how to date like a grown up.
I’m going to have an orgasm not given to myself.
I’m going to fall in love and live happily ever after.

Right after I get out of this interrogation room.

Book Review: 5 Stars

five-stars

“Trust” is the third novel in the “Wrong”-Series by Jana Aston and the last one unfortunately. And whereas you could read the first two novels as standalones, I would highly recommend to not read “Trust “ as such, because the characters from “Wrong” and “Right” are playing a huge role and they aren’t introduced very detailed. I would definitely recommend to read the books in order.

Normally, Rom-Coms are not my cuppa. I tried many authors, just to see if maybe I had a problem with just one or if this sub-genre just wasn’t for me. Well, seems that the latter is the case. So deem me speechless, when I discovered that I loved “Wrong”, Jana Aston’s first ever book. When I learned after reading that this was classified Rom-Com, I was baffled LOL But that didn’t make it any less good. I seem to somehow connect with the author, her sense of humor and she has the ability to press all my emotional and hormonal buttons. Unfortunately, her second book “Right” wasn’t for me, the heroine was too much for my liking. So “Trust” was kinda like playing Russian roulette for me, a 50/50 chance I’d like it. And thank goodness I even loved it.

There is everything in Jana Aston’s books: Romance, humor, angst, sex… I just love how well she balances everything. Only issue I have to voice here: There was really very little sex in “Trust”. In “Wrong”, the whole romance kinda starts out with sex so I was surprised to find that already more than half the book was read until we had the first actual intercourse in “Trust”. But I didn’t even miss it all that much, the chemistry was just right between the two MC’s. Oh, and this book wasn’t long enough. But that’s just me, loving it so much that I didn’t want it to end.

All in all, I can recommend “Trust”, as well as Jana Aston’s whole “Wrong”-Series, and rate it with 5 stars.
