Alexander Bryant has lived his entire life making everyone else happy. After meeting Lincoln, will he have the courage to finally do what makes him happy?
Alexander – I like to imagine myself a rebel – an ass-kicker that takes what he wants regardless of what others think. I make my own path and flip off the people who don’t agree. I laugh in the face of conflict. Nobody tells me what to do.
In reality, everything about me is a lie – past, present, and future. The Bryant name requires certain things and all my decisions are based on those requirements. I like football, but the family name demands I love it. I want to be an artist, but the family name demands I be a lawyer. The family demands I fall in love with a nice girl, but I’m falling for, well, the opposite of nice AND girl. I’m a coward and a liar.
Lincoln – I like to imagine myself a loner – a cold heartless bastard that takes what he wants. I lived the biggest part of my life with parents that were ashamed of me for more reasons that one could begin to count, so I trust no one.
I have a low tolerance for bullshit and hate liars.
So why did I go and fall in love with the biggest liar of them all?

Book Review: 4 Stars
First of all – this was by far the hottest book I’ve read in a long while! Holy cow. Okay, back to the task at hand…
“Touchdown” was a book I saw on Netgalley and the blurb spoke to me immediately. Then I started reading it. And I almost DNF’ed it! Why? Well, it started out with our male main character Alex. He is a jock, a college football-player, involved with Miss Alabama, about to go to Harvard Law School and just roundabout the perfect American poster-child. But then suddenly, this story morphs into BDSM. And as if that wouldn’t be shock enough, it also transforms into GFY (gay for you). WHAT??? I felt a bit like I had whiplash, as soon as I was on board with one thing, the next happened. But all in all, I guess it was a highly interesting affair. As for the BDSM, you could tell that the author obviously did her homework, the things Linc (the other MC) did to Alex were not 50 Shades wannabe-hardcore BDSM (spanking – woohoooo) but really special stuff that even I havn’t read about till now. So, kudos to the author for surprising someone, who is into this stuff herself. The intensive scenes from the beginning did not continue throughout the book though, the focus was not on the BDSM but on the romance. And that was totally amazing.
True, the obstacles the couple had to overcome were solved too quickly, the BDSM was first really hardcore but then non-existent and the beginning of the book took me too much by surprise with too much happening at once. BUT the romance is really great and I loved the balance between all that. The author totally aced it. And boy, was this book hot!!!
All in all, I rate “Touchdown” with 4 stars and can recommend it to all fans of MM-romance and/or BDSM.
