What a wonderful, sexy and romantic novella. Lauren did it again. She wrote a sexy novella with awesome characters, a very entertaining plot and a beautiful happy ending. And guess what? She developed an enough amount of characters that if she wanted, she could create a whole new universe here, and maybe even connect it with her other stories, who knows, I can see it happening in my imagination 🙂
Out of Bounds is about taking chances, believing in love and trusting in what you know.
Dani and Drew met and they liked each other immediately. For their surprise, they worked together, she was lawyer of the team Drew was the new quarterback and that made them to question whether if it wa a good idea to date because they had to protect the image of the team. But… it was worth to take a chance for what they were feeling, and oh boy, that was a helluva chance they took.
I loved this story so much. Dani was fierce and badass. Drew was romantic and focused. They both excelled at their jobs, but not only because he was an awesome football player or she a great lawyer, but because they always did what was right, for everyone, and in the end they did what was best for them both.
As always, Lauren wrote super hawt sex scenes. Dani and Drew were explosive together. The car scene was beyond erotic and sensual and when they finally sealed the deal, wow, that was just wow.
Out of Bounds was awesome and I can’t wait to read the books of the secondary characters. I’m sure Ally and Jason would have an even more awesome story than Dani and Drew.

Andrew Erickson and Dani Paige met on the beach when she helped him when he got hit in the head by his surfboard. The attraction was there from the get go and both of them were feeling it. They seemed to hit it off on multiple levels and just when things were to get even better and hotter Andrew got a phone call and had to bail. Dani was sure he would call the next day or so but the call never came, he was MIA and she couldn’t understand what went wrong. But she never could have guessed that he got her phone number wrong and couldn’t reach her.
But soon enough their ways would cross again and this time it was more than fun and play on the line. Andrew is the football quarterback who just got traded to Los Angeles Knights, a team Dani was a legal attorney for. And from that moment on the game is back on again!
Lauren Blakely does NOT fail! Not in my book anyway, sometimes I wonder what does that woman eat and drink because clearly she posses some kind of superpower. Not only does she releases book after book but they are all GOOD too, ok sometimes pretty AMAZING….ok ok like all the TIME 🙂
Okaaay this maybe got a bit out of hand here, but hey if I had the opportunity to like camp outside her house and give her a hug or two on a daily basis I would so do it. It might earn me a restraining order but it would be so worth it *puppy eyes*
All right let’s get serious now *trying my best people*. Lauren is a true professional who knows what works and what people demands and she is supplying that demand very well. Her books are all so nicely written with a perfect blend of romance, comedy, and for God’s sake don’t even get me started on all those hot hot hoooooot scenes that takes my breath away. I love that feeling of bliss and pure satisfaction that her stories always provide and make me feel good and giddy.
So this book was no different. I simply devoured and loved it….every single bit of it! It was easy to connect to Dani and Andrew and to this fast paced and lovely story with a perfect outcome. And once I connected I stayed like that like glued to the passion and anticipation hanging in the air and promises of more to come.
The characters were amazing and perfect for the storyline, trust me people sometimes in books it does happens that we fall in love with them and fall out of love too. But not here, I fall hard and deep for them both and I adore them.
So to try to make this review relatively “short” and get to the important parts.
