He's sexy... He's dangerous... He's right next door.
I gave up everything to save my sister from a monster, and now I’m lying low in this rundown apartment so I can stay out of danger. Hiding from everyone.
Except for the guy in apartment 1A.
He’s rude. Silent. Muscled, mysterious, and hot as hell. I don’t know if he likes me or hates me, but the more time I spend with him, the less it matters.
I want him.
And for the first time in my life I'm going to go after what I want.
She doesn’t belong in my world.
From the second 1B moves in, I know she’s keeping secrets. She doesn’t belong here, much less with a street fighter like me.
But that doesn’t stop me from craving her. Her softness and sweetness. She’s a drug, and suddenly I’m addicted.
I know someone is going to try and hurt her and I can’t let that happen. But unless I push her away and get her out of my world, that someone could be me…

Book Review: 4 stars
This was a quick and highly erotic novel by M. O’Keefe. I’ve read two other books by her and therefore was aware of the great writing, the many emotions she can lure out of me. Well, she at least did with the prior two books. With “Bad Neighbor” not so much. There was not much depth to the story, I guess the short length of the book could be one reason for that. After I got used to the fast pace and slightly shallow characters, I was totally taken by surprise by the sudden turn in events. Whereas the hero was a standoffish asshole the first quarter of the book, he suddenly took the heroine on a journey she would never forget. The sex-scenes in “Bad Neighbor” were totally off the charts HOT and took even me – as a regularly erotica-reader – by total surprise. But I enjoyed it immensely LOL There was so much great angst suddenly, too. I loved the second half of the book. But I had a few issues too. The biggest one being the ending. All the problems were solved a bit too easy and I simply wanted more. But since this was only the first installment in this new series by M. O’Keefe, I guess I can hope that my wish will be granted in the following books. I definitely look forward to them.
All in all, I rate “Bad Neighbor” with 4 stars and can recommend it to everyone.
