I have SO MANY feelings about this book! I’ve waited for this final installment for what’s feel like FOREVER now and when I finally had it, I was scared to start it. I wasn’t scared of not liking it, I was worried I was going to read it too fast. I wanted to savor every page, every word, every moment between these characters. But just like the other books in the series, the story makes it IMPOSSIBLE to put it down! But regardless of how fast I read it, I did still savor every minute of it. I enjoyed EVERY SINGLE PAGE and EVERY SINGLE WORD of this outstanding story.
THE ROMAN is book # 3 in the Florentine series, and the final book *tears*, the end of this amazing love story between William & Raven. I’m a BIG fan of HEA’s and I wanted SO BAD for these two amazing characters to have the finale that they deserve, (and that I deserve as a huge fan of them). Let me tell you that Sylvain Reynard NAILED IT! He met all my expectations and then some with this final installment.
If you’ve read the previous books, this is a “Paranormal Romance” series. There are vampires, there is The Curia, there is a war against species (humans vs vampires) and in the middle of this danger, there is the love between The Prince of Florence (aka William York) and Raven Wood. Love that they have to fight for and sacrifices that they will be forced to make in order of LOVE. All this together creates a perfect story that only Sylvain Reynard’s writing with elegance and art was capable of creating.
If you’re a fan of Sylvain Reynard, you know that this series is a MUST READ even if you’re not into Paranormal. You will NOT be disappointed with how this series ends. I guarantee you that you will love the story! There is no author that can mix art, history, paranormal, values and romance as Sylvain. Reading the series is a luxury that all can afford.
