Kirsty Moseley brings us the sequel to Fighting to be Free.
It's been years since Jamie Cole's seen Ellie Pearce. He's immersed himself in the life he'd once fought to leave and taken over his old turf--creating dangerous rivals. He has nothing to lose--until Ellie comes back to town.
Ellie has moved on. She met a man in London--a man she's marrying. She hardly allows herself to remember the boy who broker her heart at 18. But when tragedy strikes, Ellie's forced to return to New York. She thought she could handle seeing Jamie again, but she can't deny he's still a part of her. Now amidst threats from Jamie's enemies and fighting to keep her sister safe, Ellie must decide to return to her fiancé or surrender to the fire that still burns with Jamie.

Book Review: 4.5 stars
I’ve been waiting for this book since we were left without a conclusion in FIGHTING TO BE FREE, the first book in the series. And since I was left with my heart broken, I knew that in book 2, WORTH FIGHTING FOR, my heart would still ache for these two.
When two soulmates find each other because of faith, but then bad things happen, they are forced to be apart. But since fate brought them together, they can’t stay away from each other too long. There is this attraction that will pull them together again.
The years has passed since the end of book 1. Ellie Pierce now lives in London and has been able to travel the world like Jamie hoped she would. But she has also moved on. She’s living with her fiancé and has her life figured out.
At the end of FIGHTING TO BE FREE, Jamie Cole went to jail, but he didn’t tell Ellie that. Now he is out of jail and as he has lost the love of his life, nothing matters anymore. All the work he did trying to get away from the life he lived before Ellie isn’t worth fighting against anymore. What does he have to lose now? So he accepts the heir that his former boss left him and now he is running the illegal business and stealing cars.
After a family tragedy, Ellie is forced to come back to New York, the place she didn’t plan to come back to in order to not meet with the man who broke her heart.
Jamie knows Ellie is back, he never moved on, he still loves her, but he knows he did the right thing when he let her go three years ago.
But he knows too that Ellie Pierce is WORTH FIGHTING FOR, so he’s going to do whatever he can in order to have her back.
In this book, Ellie goes through rough times and my heart aches for her. She has to make decisions that may change her life forever. Will she be able to forgive Jamie after he broke her heart? Will she be able to give him a second chance with the life he now has.
This is a second-chance romance that will steal your heart. The author gave these two a lovely closure and i can’t be anymore happy with how it ended. It’s WORTH reading it.
