A steamy, office-romance novella from New York Times bestselling author, Whitney G...

He definitely wasn’t supposed to get that email…

Subject: My Boss.

Have I already told you that I hate my boss today?

Sexy as hell or not, this pompous, arrogant, ASSHOLE asked me to pick up his dry cleaning the second I walked through the door. Then he told me that I needed to take his Jaguar to a car wash that was ten miles outside of the city, but only after I needed to stand in a never-ending line to buy some type of limited, hundred-dollar watch.

I honestly can’t wait to see the look on his face two months from now when I tell him that I’m quitting his company and that he can kiss my ass. KISS. MY. ASS.

All those former fantasies about him kissing me with his “mouth of perfection” or bending me over my desk and filling me with his cock are long over. OVER.

Your bestie,
Mya

PS--Please tell me your day is going better than mine…

Subject: Re: My Boss.

No, you haven’t already told me that you hate your "boss" today, but seeing as though you’ve sent me this email directly, I know now…

Yes, I did ask you to pick up my dry cleaning the second you arrived to work to day. (Where is it?) And I did tell you to take my Jaguar to the car wash and pick up my thousand-dollar watch. (Thank you for taking five hours to do something that could be accomplished in two.)

You don’t have to wait two months from now to see the look on my face when you tell me you’re quitting. I’m standing outside your office at this very moment. ( Open the door. )

No comment on your “fantasies,” although I highly doubt they’re “long over.”

Your boss,
Michael

PS—Yes. My day is definitely going far better than yours…

I’m getting so addicted to Whitney’s men. Each time she has a new release, I’m on it or “over them” *wink* and NAUGHTY BOSS was no exception. Just read that alluring blurb and you won’t be able to stop until you one-click it. I was beyond excited when I found the ARC on my kindle, so I stopped what I was doing and started reading. I don’t want to give too much info about the book, the blurb is revealing enough.

Michael Leighton is this amazingly, hot as hell, playboy CEO of “Leighton Publishing”. He has a reputation and because of his job, he has to zip his pants and avoid being caught in any scandals. He’s a perfectionist and a demanding boss that sometimes forgets to say words such as, please or thank you. Mya London is the assistant Michael needs. She’s good at her job, but she has to struggle between her demanding boss and the sexual tension between them.

This story is a novella. Yes, it is short. A “finish in one sitting” type of read, but that’s because you literally won’t able to stop reading. It’s the type of novella, you call your boss and use your last sick day because you need to read it ASAP. I LOVE Whitney’s writing and the ability to tell a story. She tells us a story that doesn’t need to be long. You will enjoy her book regardless of its length because it has an amazing plot and the perfect ending for this short, but lengthy in other aspects *wink*

I’ve always been told Whitney G. is one of the best romance authors ever and now I know why! Naughty Boss got my complete attention with that synopsis and despite not having room in my schedule this month, I had to read this book, after all, bastard book boyfriends are my weakness.

Naughty Boss is a novella—sadly it was too short—about a sexy executive assistant and her bastard boss. Mya was determined to prove her value as a professional woman and worked hard to do so. After a year of working for Michael, she was through with him. He was rude and ungrateful, he never noticed all her hard work and always was complaining about her working too late or working too early or simply because she was doing her job. And she was ready to quit. What she didn’t know was that being all mean was how Michael coped with everything. He was perfectionist and he thought she was the only person who has fulfilled all his expectations. But he didn’t show her correctly. He was really mean to her—call me crazy, but I loved every minute of his bastard behavior—and when he got that email from her, when she said she hated him and that she “used to” have the most naughty fantasies with him, everything shifted for them.

I’m so happy I decided to squeeze my schedule to read this novella, because it was amazing. Sexy and funny as hell. Michael was my kind of bastard and Mya was my kind of badass girl. Both now are in my collection of book boyfriends and girlfriends.
