PAIGE
When Erik left town, I thought my world had ended. Even at the tender age of ten I knew how hard my life would be without him. And as I grow older, as the letters between us became sparse to nonexistent, I can’t help but feel like a wall has been built around my heart.
There is only one boy for me, and I know I’ll never see him again.
ERIK
She was my best friend, the only person I knew I couldn’t live without.
But we had to leave each other.Time went on, we drifted apart, and it always felt like I’d left a piece of myself back with her. But I’m a man now, a wounded Marine, and fate brings me back to the one girl who completes me.
Paige has always been mine, and now it’s time to prove that to her.
Warning: Tighten that seat belt because you’re about to go on an over-the-top, totally unbelievable ride. Featuring a possessive and devoted hero who saved himself for that one girl, it’ll still have that sugary-sweet aftertaste you crave. Don’t forget that cold glass of water, because you’ll need it for the heat this book—and Erik—is packing.

Book Review: 3.5 stars
I have been a fan of Jenika Snow’s writing since I had read Beautiful Prison and I never stopped looking forward to read her newest works.
You’ve Always Been Mine is the second Volume in the You’re Mine series of short stories. This time it says the story of Paige and Eric, two childhood best friends who have been separated for a little over a decade and now they reconnect in the same place they first became friends. But, what they didn’t count on, was the emotions they tried to bury deep inside their hearts all these years, now breaking the surface, ready to claim them both.
The book, although short, was really well-written and extremely sweet. The fact that these kids have been through a lot and without the other to support them, made them book even more emotional. Their reconnection is charged with all kinds of feelings like nostalgia, love, longing, a bit of lust and the unavoidable bucket of feelings that the memories bring.
Jenika succeeded, in a matter of pages, to reveal the first levels of the incredible personalities of her two characters without making them seem rushed. I loved every minute of their story and even more their epilogue. This couple has written Sweet and Lovey-Dovey-Eyes all over it.
I really can’t wait to read the first book of the series which seemed even more special and heart-warming with a love that captures every corner of your heart.
