Book Review: 5 this is everything stars!!!
I am suffering from The Reed Luca Effect. It really is a thing! THIS BOOK!!! OH. MY. GOD!!! I am utterly and completely head over heels in LOVE with Reed and Lola! I. Just. Can’t.
First of all. Reed Luca? He is EVERYTHING. Now. When I say everything? I mean EVERY. FREAKING. THING. He is sexy, mesmerizing, funny and cocky. He is kind and fun and just, well everything!! His sexy smirks and beautiful soul had me reading this book with hearts in my eyes and lust in my loins. The way he looks at – no SEES Lola, had me constantly swooning. My heart was constantly squeezing. I thought it was going to explode. He is the total package. I want to be HIS unicorn!!! And Lola? OH. MY. GOD. I fell hard and fast for her quirky, sweary and beautiful soul! Like, I want to be her best friend forever! The things that would come out of her mouth were priceless! These two together? SPARKS. No, no, that’s not even right. AN INFERNO. The banter between these two was unlike anything I have ever read. I just could. Not. Get. Enough!
This story had me constantly smiling and laughing out loud! I absolutely ADORED Reed and Lola’s families. They are the BEST! It’s one of my favourite things to read in a book! The interactions with their families were ON POINT! And I could so relate to them. I mean…Lola’s mom HAS A LIST! That’s all I’ll tell you, but I about died on the spot! And Reed’s dad? Oh. My. God. He is so freaking hilarious with his TMI!!! Their sisters? Awesome. Even their brother in laws were scene stealing! So real and funny and I totally want to be adopted by both families! I just really, truly loved everything about this book!!!
Ok, ok, I’ll stop gushing now. I could go on forever about this hate-to-love romance. But seriously, Sex Says is one of my absolute favourite reads this year. I have a HUGE book hangover and I am dying to re-read it and experience this amazingness all over again! It’s THAT GOOD! Reed Luca and Lola Sexton AND their families stole my heart and soul! My strings are THEIRS to pull.
