It’s so hard not to fall in love with Lauren’s books, they are always amazing and leave my heart soaring with so much love and happiness <3 They have everything I adore in books: They are romantic, erotic, funny, the perfect amount of drama and there’s a whole universe that brings old characters and open the window for new stories *smiles*

The Hot One is a story of second chances, forgiveness and accepting the mistakes made in the past. But most of all, this book is about new beginnings. Tyler Nichols found the love of his life in college. He and Delayne the perfect match, they had a beautiful relationship and great chemistry, until one day, Tyler decided to break it all off. Years later, one sunday morning he saw her running at the park and the chase begun. Tyler got “curious” and he pursued Delayne relentlessly until she finally agreed to talk openly to him. It wasn’t easy for Tyler but it was worth it, because all the feelings they had for each other back in the past, were stronger and greater in the present.

Zachary Webber and Andi Arndt did an amazing work with the narration of the audiobook. I loved it so much I even listened twice in a row because everything was amazing about it. They made the story sexier, more romantic, more everything. I loved Zachary’s voice for Tyler, he sounded strong and cocky but at the same time, he sounded caring and loving, especially when he was with his niece, Carly. Their time together was the cutest thing ever. I always enjoy Andi’s narrations. She has a sweet voice that makes female characters more real and more feminine, which was just perfect for Delayne.

I loved The Hot One so much. It was a great story, full of sexy moments, awesome characters and I was so happy to read again about my beloved Clay *sigh* He’s always so smart and wise about women *chuckles* Julia has made a great man out of him *smiles*
