She’s all I could ever want…
I have a reputation around school. Cold. Untouchable. Unfeeling. Only one girl could ever make me want to change and that’s Amanda Winters. Too bad I broke her heart and drove her away.
So to get through the rest of my days in high school, I tell myself I need to focus on more important things. Like taking our football team to championships. Get accepted to the college of my choice. And finish my senior year without wanting to run away from my problems.
But your problems chase after you no matter where you go. And it’s a lot harder when you fight them alone. The longer I go without Amanda, the more I miss her. Her smile. Her laughter. The things she said. How she looked at me like I was the only person who mattered. The way she made me feel…
Why can’t I have everything, including the girl? I’m determined to make things right. And make Amanda mine…

Book Review: 5 stars
I have to start by saying that I was totally WRONG when I wrote my MORE THAN FRIENDS (Book # 2) review because I thought that Amanda and Jordan’s story didn’t need one more book, in fact this novel that did indeed NEED it…I needed it. In this book, we get to know more about Jordan Tuttle and why he felt he didn’t deserve love and pushed Amanda away. Monica Murphy did an amazing job giving closure to this lovely story.
In this book I fell HARD for Jordan Tuttle. He realized he was wrong by leaving Amanda, he just can’t live without her, but he won’t have it easy. Amanda is hurt and she always was honest with him about her feelings and one of the things that bothers her more, is that he hides things, he is not totally honest with her. She wants more with Jordan. She wants a FOREVER with him, but he has to open up more for her if he wants her love back.
I love how mature Amanda is in this novel. She knows what she wants and she says it crystal clear. She knows Jordan has issues, he is hurt, kinda damaged, but she also knows that she can’t fix him. She knows that being there for him and showing him that he can love is the better way to heal him.
For Jordan to feel this love, is overwhelming. He’s been alone for a long time. He has absent parents and he doesn’t know what love from a family means, but he will get all what he missed, with Amanda. He just has to stop fighting his own feelings in order to be happy.
We also get to know more about Liv and Ryan’s story. I’d love to know more about Em, she’s a good girl who just needed to be surrounded by better friends.
Overall, FOREVER was an amazing conclusion of this story. I love the way Jordan and Amanda developed in their love for each other. He was patient with her and he learned eventually how to trust her. If you love books about teenage hormones, angst and first love, this is a series you MUST read.
