Take one sexy bartender. Add a badass cop. A splash of sweet, that's me. One sour, that's him... and serve over ice.

That’s how you’ll get to my current situation.

You know the girl - the one who commands the scene, bottle of liquor in hand, pouring liquid fire into the willing throats of patrons as they let loose at the local bar?

That's me. Leah Marie Paige.

I may be known as the town party girl, but in reality I'm this close to my dream of opening my own bar - McConaugheys. Yes, it will be named after the acclaimed actor. What can I say? I’m a sucker for that sexy Texan.

Everything was going as planned until the night I had a few drinks and accepted a ride home from a friend. A misunderstanding leads to an arrest, and now I'm at the mercy of the one man I can’t stand, and trust me, the feeling is definitely mutual.

Adam Reingold is six-feet-tall and built like a stallion -- the man is the epitome of male. He also happens to be the town narc and hates my guts. There’s a story to our past and it's not a pretty one.

So, now, here I am, chained to him for the summer like a hardened criminal, doing whatever he tells me to do. Problem is, I can’t help but look at him when he’s not watching and wonder what our future could be like if things were different.

There are so many reasons why he’s all wrong for me. Even more reasons why I need to stay away from him.

It’s a cocktail of trouble. Best served shaken, not stirred.

5 +++ Wrecking Stars

Leah is a free spirited soul who loves her life and enjoys every day of it. She is working very hard to achieve her dream and wants so much to succeed that her own fear of not being good enough, not being taken seriously might be her downfall.

But there is also something or rather someone else who seems to be a joy killer in her life and with one misstep from her side he is threatening to crush her dream. Adam was once her friend but after a tragic event that hit them both hard will forever bind them together at the same time as it will keep them apart.

Prepare yourself to be wrecked!

Ever since I read her very first book I knew she will continue her way to greatness and I am so happy to see her claim her spot among the talented, amazing and creative authors. I always loved her writing and in this book she really blew me away. It’s easy to see how she captures reader’s attention and keeping it to the very end. And once you’ve reached the end you can’t stop thinking about it for days.

“I didn’t just lose my first love that day.
I also lost my last”

This book is absolutely one of my favorites!  It has EVERYTHING that makes a book great. It has that super cute fun part that keeps making me think of Coyote Ugly, that serious and important plot topic that should never be taken lightly. It also has that kind of drama and heartache that is just waiting around the corner to rip your heart out and wreck it beyond any repair.

“Do you feel my heart racing? Do you feel how fast my blood is running through my body just because I’m near you?”

The chemistry between Adam and Leah is almost touchable and their history makes the heart both smile and bleed. They are my adorable couple that I will cherish forever! Leah is a strong willed girl who knows what she wants and is not letting her goals slip through her fingers, she is also the sweet and sexy girl next door. Her funny banter with Adam had me laughing and smiling from start to the end.

“Leah? His lips brushed my neck.
Yeah? My words came out breathy.
What’s happening between us?
I don’t know.
I want to turn you around, but if I do, I’ll kiss you and there’s no turning back.”

Adam’s hard front didn’t fouled me for a second, I knew it my heart that there was a good man with a golden heart underneath it all and once the real him came out he simply took my heart away.

I enjoyed this book more than any word in this review can describe! I will most definitely be re-reading this very soon because I already miss these amazing characters. Recommended 110%
