He's won the hearts of millions. But is he willing to lose his?

I met the president’s son when we were both young. Matthew Hamilton was handsome, polished, and intelligent. I’d never met a guy like him.

He promised me that he’d never run for president. I promised that if he did, I’d be by his side.

Three terms later, an invitation to join Matthew Hamilton’s campaign is the most exhilarating opportunity I’ve ever experienced. I'm determined to make a difference; he is determined to win.

Focused on his goal, Matt is steadfast, ruthless, and disarming. All eyes are on him and his popularity is surging. But soon, the next possible president of the United States is possessing me in more ways than one—and despite the risks, I'm helpless to resist.

We're stealing touches, stealing moments, and stealing away at night. But our chemical connection is quickly becoming dangerously combustive, putting not only my heart, but Matt's chance at the presidency on the line.

Winning will take everything. Walking away will be the hardest thing of all.

If you could sum up Cheater’s Regret in three words, what would they be?

Hamilton for President!

What did you love best about Mr. President and Commander in Chief?

Matt Hamilton! I don’t need to say more <3

Oh Mr. President, My President. I don’t know who fell in love faster with Matt Hamilton, Charlotte or me 🙂 *chuckles* I mean, he’s smart, and serious, and sexy, and the best freaking president in the entire world. If only he was real *day dreaming*

Their story was amazing. It’s a romance story through and through. Matt and Charlotte were meant to be together, not only because their love was beautiful but because they together make a great team, perfect to be the President and First Lady of The U.S.

What does Isabelle Gordon and John Lane bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I loved their voices, inflexions, paces, pronunciations and everything about both their performances. John had a smooth commanding voice that made me die by the end of Mr. President where he only got to narrate the last chapter. The moment I listened to his voice, I was head over heels in love with his voice. And later in Commander in Chief, he was amazing in each of Matt’s chapters. On the other hand Isabella has a beautiful delicate and elegant voice, perfect for Charlotte. Even though her voice is more for a 30 year old woman, she did a great narration for Charlotte in both audios, where she was in her 20s.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Only One to be better than the print version?

I loved both books when i read them but I had to wait for the second book to be published, so the emotions of the cliffhanger of the first book were lessened with the wait. But having both audios available to listen back to back made me love the series even more, enjoy the beginning of Matt and Charlotte’s relationship in the first audio and how amazing was their life in the second audio.

I highly recommend this series and the audios make them even better.

100% Recommended.
