Beards, brothers, and bikers! Oh my!
Identical twins Beau and Duane Winston might share the same devastatingly handsome face, but where Beau is outgoing and sociable, Duane is broody and reserved. This is why Jessica James, recent college graduate and perpetual level headed good girl, has been in naïve and unhealthy infatuation with Beau Winston for most of her life. His friendly smiles make her tongue-tied and weak-kneed, and she’s never been able to move beyond her childhood crush. Whereas Duane and Jessica have always been adversaries. She can’t stand him, and she’s pretty sure he can’t stand the sight of her…
But after a case of mistaken identity, Jessica finds herself in a massive confusion kerfuffle. Jessica James has spent her whole life paralyzed by the fantasy of Beau and her assumptions of Duane’s disdain; therefore she’s unprepared for the reality that is Duane’s insatiable interest, as well as his hot hands and hot mouth and hotter looks. Not helping Jessica’s muddled mind and good girl sensibilities, Duane seems to have gotten himself in trouble with the local biker gang.
Certainly, Beau’s magic spell is broken. Yet when Jessica finds herself drawn to the man who was always her adversary, now more dangerous than ever, how much of her level-headed heart is she willing to risk?Series Description:

Audiobook Review: 5+++ Stars
“It’s truth I love beard <3 “
Would you consider the audio edition of Truth or Beard to be better than the print version?
This is my first time experiencing the awesomeness of the Winston Brothers and I’m so happy it was with the audiobook, because the whole production was AMAZING!!
What other book might you compare Truth or Beard to and why?
I love the authenticity in this story, but if I have to compare it, I could say it would be to Sinful Nights Series by Lauren Blakely. The union of the Winston’s brothers, the mystery around a criminal band, and the amazing love storie are similar elements, but like I said, this story is completely unique.
What does Joy Nash and Chris Brinkley bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Their southern accents were flawless. I loved their inflexions and the emotion both put to the narration, especially Joy when Jessica Jones was having an emotional breakdown in the middle of the story. Both narrators are new to me and I gotta say, I LOVED their performances.
Who was the most memorable character of Truth or Beard and why?
Jessica was amazing. I loved her sincerity and forwardness. She was smart and sweet and joyful and cared so much for other people. And her sense of humor was the best #GirlCrush
And aside from Jessica, I loved the twins, Duane and Beau. Beau was all relaxed and smiley, while Duane only gave smiles to the people he thought was truly deserving. I loved their dynamic as twins, how they could talk to each other telepathically. And obviously the whole Winston’s brother’s dynamic was perfect.
Any additional comments?
Amazing story, full of emotions, sexy and funny moments that kept me stick to my headphones the whole day. Now I need to start the next audio of the series, that is Jethro’s book.

fantastic review!!! I really enjoyed this book. LOVED Beard Science and now can’t wait for book 4. I love audiobooks but never had the pleasure of listening to a Penny Reid book before, I’ll have to rectify it ASAP 😀
