Old habits die hard. But in this sexy, heartwarming romance, a musician who’s addicted to the temptations of the road falls for a good girl who makes him want to clean up his act.

Mason Dell’s band, Pushing Limits, is a sensation, and he’s having a blast on their biggest tour yet. Then he gets a call from his best friend, who’s in the Navy, asking him to find out why his sister isn’t answering her phone. The dude once saved Mason’s life from a suicide attempt related to a gambling problem—so the two-and-a-half hour drive from L.A. to her small town is nothing.

What he finds is a sweet, successful boutique owner who’s too busy to notice when her phone dies. Nicole McCormick has nothing better to do than work. She’s bored of all the men she’s been dating: stable, career-oriented guys who are nothing like her destructive father. Mason’s is a breath of fresh bad-boy air. Their sexual connection is explosive, and with her shop undergoing renovations, Nicole even joins Pushing Limits on the road. But when Mason falls off the wagon, that’s one path she swore she’d never go down again.

While Nicole picks up her broken heart and heads home, Mason misses her like crazy. Although he wants to forge a future with her, he just doesn’t know how to leave the past behind. But for love, it’s time to learn.

Don’t miss any of Stina Lindenblatt’s emotional Pushing Limits novels:

Book Review: 4 stars

I haven’t realized I have been missing and I was craving the Pushing Limits boys until this one came along. And it came with a bang!

I Need You Tonight is the third installment in the unique music Pushing Limits series. After swimming in the crystal-turquoise depth of Nolan and Jared’s love stories in This One Moment and My Song For You (book 1 & book 2) respectively, now the turn to tell his love story belongs to Mason, the band’s dark skinned drummer.

“My talents go beyond being a drummer extraordinaire.”, I winked at her.

The story goes like this; An old friend of Mason’s calls him asking him to go check on his little sister who has been MIA for quite a few days and she doesn’t pick up her phone. Mason makes the trip and, instead of the petite girl he was remembering, he sets his eyes on the grown up and beautiful woman she has become. After staying with her for a few days to “relax” before their tour begins, he makes her a business proposition to join them and help them with their image. But no one could have guessed the rest.

There are so many many things that I loved about this story. But let me take it from the start otherwise my feelings will take over and then the review will match my mind; a knot. First of all, Logan. My God, that kid. I simply wanted to jump into the book and squeesh his cheeks and hug him to death. Then, there is the use of a different, darker skin type on Mason. I know that there are other books out there whose characters have other skin type, but since I have come across a few of them, each time that I get to read on, I cherish it all the most for this special feature.
