I’m an animal, a member of the Sin City Outlaws motorcycle club that isn't capable of human compassion. So I’ve been told anyway.
Raven is my club’s prisoner. I’ve been ordered to break her. It should be easy given my violent history. But being this close to a woman—this woman—for the first time in a long time, is like sharing company with the demon Lilith herself.
She’s my perfect toy. Filled with a dark rage. Blessed with perfected beauty. Sinfully sweet and wickedly divine. Everything about her solicits the demons inside me
I want to hear her screams. I want those big, dark eyes looking up at me—silently begging me for mercy. I want to be her heaven…and her hell.
My desire for her is forbidden. My infatuation is illicit. I’m betraying my club.
And if the wage of my sin is death, then this woman is going to get me killed.

Book Review: 5+ Stars

five-stars

This series gets better and better and darker and darker with every book that’s added and I’m shock to say that this book, the darkest, is by far the best of the series. I love Zeek and Felix, but Machete has something dark and broken and intimidating that makes me obsessed about him.

Maybe he’s right about me being Lilith, but one thing’s for sure. You can’t have the queen of hell without a king.

Warning ⚠️ If you haven’t read the first books of the series, I highly recommend you do so and start from the beginning with Reign, Mercy and Retaliate, so you can fully understand Sin City Outlaws MC story. Machete and Raven’s dark romance might be standalone, but not the club’s story.

Raven wasn’t just a prisoner of the Sin City Outlaw MC, she kidnapped the old lady of the Vicepresident and she tried to kidnap the babies of the President, so that made her the enemy of the club, but she had information of the brains behind those attacks, and only the ruthless and more illicit member of the club can get that information from her, so they could take revenge.

Machete was lethal, merciless and with no heart, and when he thought he would intimidate Raven to get the information he needed, he found himself in front of a strong, fearless and cold hearted woman and all his usual violent ways wouldn’t work with her. So he only had one option: mind fuck her, but he ended up mind fucked in return.

This book was AMAZING!! I never, and I mean, never read a dark romance, and less a book as violent as this one, but I loved every word of Illicit. I felt like watching a movie, the descriptions were perfect, the violent scenes were so vivid, and the mind fuck scenes were even more intense. I fell in love with both characters, with all their darkness and how broken they were. Reading how they fought their desires was the best of this dark romance, and the MC club business and crimes was super exciting, it had me on edge all the time.

All in all, awesome book, awesome characters, and spectacular series. 200% recommended.
