I spent six weeks screwing Austin Wright’s brains out and all I got was this broken heart.

He can’t be trusted. Not with my body or my heart. Yet, two years have passed and I still crave him like an addict needing a fix.

The last time we tried this, it nearly ruined me. I know I should run and never look back. But his dark haunted eyes and razor blade smile speak to my soul. His touch sets my body on fire. And we all know what happens when you light gasoline. Someone is bound to get burned.

A second chance might destroy us both.

Because everyone knows two wrongs don’t make a Wright.

I love, love LOVED this book so much! If you’re a fan of K. A. Linde and you have read all the books of THE WRIGHT series, then  you know it was time for Austin Wright’s story. This Lubbock man has stolen my heart…well we fought a little, but at the end, he got my whole heart. From all of her books in this series, this was the most heartbreaking but the most I loved! This is a story that a lot of people can relate with, situations that we have to deal with in real life which makes it more human and more believable.

What we know so far about Austin Wright is that he loves to drink and he doesn’t take life seriously. He is always drinking and despite his siblings effort to stop this, he thinks he has no problem with his drinking. Two years ago, he met Julia Banner, who works as HR at “Wright Constructions”, but that relationship didn’t end well, they are like oil and water.

Now he is trying to get her back because he knows there is no woman for him than her. Julia is trying her best to stay away from him because he is BIG TROUBLE, but her feelings always lead her towards him.

The love is mutual. They are perfect for each other, they need each other, but they also need you heal their wounds in order to be together. Austin first has to solve his drinking problem, accept he has this addiction and look for help. Julia needs to open up to Austin about her past and tell him why she can deal with more addiction in her life.

I love how the author developed these amazing characters. We see their love growing, the disappointment, the pain, the vulnerability, the healing and finally they both give each other the chance to heal their wounds together. Even though this book broke my heart and made me cry, I loved how it all worked out and love the amazing HEA the author gave us. Reading this book is so worth it!! Now it’s time for the female Wright’s story, can’t wait to read about Morgan & Patrick story <3
