From USA Today bestselling author Meghan March comes the final sexy standalone set in the Beneath world of New Orleans.

I used to believe there were lines in life you don't cross.
Don't lie. Don't cheat. Don't steal.
Until I learned people don't always practice what they preach.
I turned in my badge and gun and walked away from everything.
Then I got the call no one wants, and I’m back in New Orleans.
What I don't expect is for her to be here too.
Another line you don’t cross?
Don't touch your best friend’s little sister.
She's always been off-limits.
Too bad I don't follow the rules anymore.

Intoxicating and gut-wrenching fabulous masterpiece

Rhett Hennessy has been called back to his childhood home after leaving it behind with no intent ever going back and facing the past. You can run but you can’t always hide and his past is back to haunt him and turn his life upside down. The only good thing, the light in his eyes is his best friend’s sister Ariel Sampson who is also in town and he is struggling with not crossing the forbidden line or giving in to his heart’s desire and go after what he really wants and cherish.

But what awaits him on the home front is beyond anything he ever could have imagined and the secrets and lies keep piling up into a huge mountain.

I LOVE THIS TO THE MOON AND BACK!!!!

My feelings are all over the place after finishing this *can’t put it down* book. I don’t know if I want to cry of how great it was, or cry sad tears of it being over. Meghan March totally killed it with this story and may I say this is her BEST work so far. I am in complete maze of how brilliant and majestic this was. One of the best books of 2017 if not one of the best period. The writing is simply flawless and the story line is off the hook. This book HAS IT ALL!!!! It’s EVERYTHING in my book.

“You’re bossy all of a sudden.
A smile slid over my lips, tugging one corner up.
I’ve always been bossy,You just never realized it.”

It is part of the Beneath Series but could be read as a standalone too. My deepest recommendations are too read as many if not the whole series if you can to get to know all the side characters better and just because all those books are well worth reading. We get to read the story from Rhett’s and Ariel’s POV and those are so perfectly mashed together it’s like a perfectly orchestrated symphony. The chemistry of those two is off the charts and I am their biggest fan (ok, ok maybe after Meghan herself *smiles*).

“Tell me about the security guy. Why do you need one?
I’m pretty sure that’s none of your business.
You’ve always been my business.”

What I loved extremely much in this book was how strong and powerful the heroine was and yet down to earth shy girl next door. Ariel is definitely one of my all-time favorite female characters and I was so proud of her I wanted to hug her through the pages.

“I refuse to be anyone’s mistake. If anything, I’m a goddamned privilege.”

And then we have Rhett, dream man on all fronts if you ask me. I fell for him fast and hard and wanted to console him and make all his pain turn into happiness. This duo is perfection not created by The Almighty himself but by lovely Meghan.

“Get her inside. Do not fuck her.
And for the love of God, don’t blow your load in your pants like a kid on his first date.”

This story is full of tension, secrecy, and hidden agendas that it gets so though and you have no idea who to trust and who would betray you and who would be having your back.

There is so much more I could say about this book but even the smallest detail could be seen as a spoiler and that’s far from what I want to tell you. This is a well written book with so much of Meghan’s heart and soul into it that it deserves to be read by every reader out there. I recommend this book 110% and hope you enjoy it as much as I did and even more.
