The more the merrier
True love may mean certain death in a ghostly affair of risk and passion from New York Times bestselling duo Christina Lauren, authors ofBeautiful Bastard. Tahereh Mafi, New York Times bestselling author ofShatter Me calls Sublime “a beautiful, haunting read”.
When Lucy walks out of a frozen forest, wearing only a silk dress and sandals, she isn’t sure how she got there. But when she sees Colin, she knows for sure that she’s here for him.
Colin has never been captivated by a girl the way he is by Lucy. With each passing day their lives intertwine, and even as Lucy begins to remember more of her life—and her death—neither of them is willing to give up what they have, no matter how impossible it is. And when Colin finds a way to physically be with Lucy, taking himself to the brink of death where his reality and Lucy’s overlap, the joy of being together for those brief stolen moments drowns out everything in the outside world. But some lines weren’t meant to be crossed…
Christina Lauren is the combined pen name of long-time writing partners besties soulmates brain-twins Christina Hobbs and Lauren Billings. The coauthor duo writes both Young Adult and Adult Fiction, and together has produced seven New York Times bestselling novels. Their books have been translated into 22 languages. (Some of these books have kissing. Some of these books have A LOT of kissing.)
One-night stands are supposed to be with someone convenient, or wickedly persuasive, or regrettable. They aren’t supposed to be with someone like him.
But after a crazy Vegas weekend celebrating her college graduation—and terrified of the future path she knows is a cop-out—Mia Holland makes the wildest decision of her life: follow Ansel Guillaume—her sweet, filthy fling—to France for the summer and just…play.
When feelings begin to develop behind the provocative roles they take on, and their temporary masquerade adventures begin to feel real, Mia will have to decide if she belongs in the life she left because it was all wrong, or in the strange new one that seems worlds away.
5 STARS
I’m a huge fan of Christina Lauren, they both are amazing and they deserve all the success they have. Their series Beautiful Bastard, is one of my favorite ones, and this new series Wild Seasons made it with the first book Sweet Filthy Boy. I love their writing in every book of them, and I love the most that every book is different from the others. I love how they write the characters in their books, how one story connects with the other one, how they give friendship its importance, but what i love the most of their books, is that “the love” isn’t easy in the story. They add the perfect amount of drama to their books and in Sweet Filthy Boy, this aspect was just perfect.
This book is amazing. The way Mia and Ansel met was so “Vegas”, but what I liked so much was that they tried. They liked each other so much, that giving a chance to that “Vegas Marriage” was the best thing to do. And it was a good way out for Mia. She was insecure, and shy, but when she was with Ansel, she felt free. Ansel on the other hand, was always so sweet. So tender. So loving. So perfect. And he wanted Mia to be happy, and he did everything he could to make her feel at home when they arrived to Paris. But they both had secrets, him more than her, but secrets anyway.
Their love story started in a crazy way. In a way most people think it’s a mistake and take care if it the morning after. But they did the opposite, they followed their hearts. I love their HEA!!!

Did you hear Christina and Lauren’s good news?! We can’t stop smiling. If we can do cartwheels down the street without looking like a psycho, we’d do it.
Here’s the link to The Hollywood Reporter‘s website where you can read all about it. We’re so stoked that Max Stella and Sara Dillion will have a novella all to themselves. We’re looking forward to reading about the new addition to their family and maybe we might get a glimpse of their wedding as well. *crossing fingers and toes*
If you haven’t gotten around to reading the Beautiful Bastard series, you still have time.
