From New York Times bestselling author, Corinne Michaels, comes a new heartwarming standalone romance.
I’m getting really good at cutting my losses.
First, the husband. Divorcing him was the best decision I ever made. But between single-parenting and job-hunting, I can’t catch my breath. When a celebrity blogging position falls into my lap, I’m determined to succeed.
That is, until I get my first assignment and actually see Noah Frazier for the first time . . . practically naked and dripping wet. My heart races and I forget how to form complete sentences. His chiseled abs, irresistible smirk, and crystal blue eyes are too perfect to be real. So, what do I do? Get drunk and humiliate myself, of course.
I’m ready to forget the awkward night, yet Noah has no intention of allowing me to move on. Instead, he arranges for me to write a feature on him, ensuring a lot more time together. One embarrassing moment after another, one kiss after another, and before I can stop myself, I realize—I’m falling in love with him.
But when the unthinkable happens, can I even blame him for cutting his losses?
What I wouldn’t give for just one last time . . .

Book review: 4 stars
It’s mind blowing how Corinne gets to fit so many damn emotions into such a number of pages. This is the second time I fall into her well-webbed trap and have my heart doing all kind of things since even the beginning of the book.
One Last Time is one of those books and stories that one word is enough to hook you in. And with every next you read, the more captivated you become and the more you fall in love with it. Its characters, no matter if they are lead or secondary, complete both the story and each other perfectly so any of them is expendable. Each one makes its own sense in the story and plays a very important role. That’s why, while I was reading it, I got the feeling that the real depth and weight of this book are hidden in the characters that surround Kristin & Noah, such as her ex-husband, her kids, their friends. Without them, the incredible love that’s being born and the powerful bond that is being created between these two lovers – which in all honesty was and is one of the stories that have made me swoon the most -, wouldn’t be the masterpiece it is and has the effect it had on me.
The connection and the chemistry that is developed between Kris & Noah is one that neither someone can ignore or deny, not, most importantly, fake. Since their first meeting with that hilarious, sweet, drunk and…. wet scene in Eli & Heather’s (I will come back to them later) house, their future was undeniable and the hooks in me were deeply installed.
