    We said our goodbyes. Kyle and I went back to that special hammock on the lake, wrapped up in each other’s arms the rest of the night.
     
    While I looked up at the stars, I kept thinking about what had happened between Kutu and I. The experience I had with Kutu was incredible, and we would always be connected spiritually. Kutu was so amazing, but I truly loved Kyle.
     
    After seeing Kyle’s true self that night, I had never felt more connected to anyone. I had so many questions about him, about his kind. There would be more time for that later. For now I was content just being wrapped in his strong and muscular arms.
     
    All of a sudden I noticed a bright light emerge in the distance. It was coming from the area where Kutu’s cave was. That light suddenly shot up into the sky and disappeared. I just smiled and closed my eyes. At this point everything felt so right.
     
    I would always have the memory of that little slice of paradise in the mountains with him.

    I awoke the next morning to the bright sunlight shining through the translucent material of the tent. The smell of the fresh mountain air filled my nostrils as I took a deep breath and stretched my body out on the bed.

    The peace and quiet was suddenly interrupted by the ringing of my phone. My initial thought was who would call me at that time in the morning.
     
    I reached over and picked up my phone. It was my roommate, Tina, calling. I am sure she only wanted to check up on me, but I wasn’t in the mood to talk. I ended up sending the call to voicemail.
     
    I knew that I should have answered, but I was in heaven. I felt comfortably wrapped up inside Jake’s arms. He must have held me all night long, keeping me safe and protected. That was likely the reason I slept so soundly that night. In fact, it was the best night sleep I’d had in months.
     
    I stretched out and took a deep breath, taking in the fresh aroma of the mountain air. My ears filled up with sounds of birds singing in the distance. I moved just enough to wake Jake up from his sleep.
     
    He opened his eyes and cracked a smile at me. It took my breath as he pulled me closer to him, holding me tight against his warm naked body.
     
    “It’s not every day you get to wake up to the most beautiful view in the mountains,” he said looking directly at me.
     
    “Oh stop,” I replied. I turned
