    “This all looks so good. Thanks, Jared.” She smiled at him again.

    Kelly rested on the long sofa in the huge living area. She glanced through Jared’s amazingly detailed book on sex while Derek finished his shower. At last, she heard the water in the bathroom quit running. Derek would join her soon.
    At least she’d had time to read through the chapter on multiple partners by herself while he showered. If her cheeks had turned hot this time, he wasn’t there to comment on it and make her more embarrassed.     He dropped onto the sofa and took the book from her hands. After glancing through the pages of the chapter she’d just read, he grinned at her. “Don’t worry. We don’t need all of this. There’s only so much three people can do at one time. Are you ready?”
    Whether she was or not, she needed to arm herself against Rafe with the knowledge and experience. “Yes. I’m ready.”
    “Good.” He took out his cell and dialed. “Jared? Yeah, we’re ready. Where shall we do this? Okay. Meet you there.” He ended the call and looked at her. “Jared suggested the bedroom next to ours.” He held out his hand.
    “Let’s go,” she said.
    “Let’s change into our bathrobes first.”
    “Okay,” she agreed, butterflies already in her stomach.
    They changed out of their clothes and slipped into their robes in the bathroom. Derek grabbed some things from the drawer under the bathroom counter, and they headed for the bedroom next to theirs.
    Derek opened the door for her to precede him. She walked into the room, her attention caught by a metal bar hanging from the ceiling by chains. More chains hung from each end of the bar. “What’s that?”
    Jared stood on the other side of the room. He also wore a white terry-cloth robe. He smiled at her.
