at him. “Don’t worry, darling. You’ll get your turn, but first…”
He kissed her again, harder, more demanding. She fought for control, not fully submitting until he grabbed the thin strap on her nightie and tugged it down her arm. She gasped and released his mouth, focusing on his eyes as he repeated the action on the other side, pushing the straps lower until the entire piece fell in a heap at her feet.
He looked down her body, groaning at the pretty pink vee that beckoned to him in the moonlight. She still kept herself bare, and the thought of feeling that supple skin beneath his tongue suddenly became paramount.
“Fuck. You’re so damn beautiful.” He grabbed both of her hands and pressed them against the wall. “You’d be wise to keep them there.”
She opened her mouth in response, but he silenced her with a possessive kiss. Then he slowly sank to his knees, looking up her body at her breasts. They were perky and firm, about the size of his hand. Her nipples had beaded into tiny buds, pointing straight out as if begging him to taste them. He obliged, taking one tight nub between his forefinger and thumb as his mouth descended on the other. A harsh cry lit the air as he rolled the bud between his fingers, working the other with his tongue and teeth. Her body squirmed against him, the subtle scent of her arousal wafting up from between her legs.
He smiled and released her nipple, moving to the other side, tormenting it with the same slow teasing. He heard her fingernails scratch at the wall and knew she was close to disregarding his warning and spearing her fingers through his hair as she tried to move him to where she needed him most.
“Goddamn, Sawyer. It’s been two years. Please don’t tease me.”
He kissed her nipple and inched back, meeting her gaze from between her breasts. Her face was shadowed in the muted light, but he could see the urgency in her eyes. His chest clenched around the thought that she’d waited for him—held their vows sacred though she couldn’t even remember them—and he knew he’d move heaven and earth to please her.
“As you wish. Spread your legs and let me get a better look at you.”
She sucked the corner of her top lip into her mouth, looking as if she was considering his request, before slowly shifting her legs apart, baring herself to his gaze. He smiled up at her, dropping open-mouthed kisses along her ribs as he moved down her body. Her scar passed below his tongue, the slightly raised skin gaining his attention. He eased back, lifting his fingers to lightly graze the length of it. Mallory’s breath hitched and she reached for his hand, but he brushed her away, intent on showing her how lucky he felt to have this second chance. How strong she’d been to stay alive.
“I died a thousand times those first few days. God, when I think—”
“Don’t. Don’t think. Just love me.”
He glanced up at her, smiling at the passion shining in her eyes. “You’re right. There’ll be time to discuss your reckless behaviour later. But first things first.”
He gave the mark one final kiss, pushing away the panicky feeling as he inched down her body again, circling her belly button before moving to the top of her mound. The sweet scent of her musk permeated his senses and he couldn’t stop from darting his tongue out and swiping it through her slit.
Her strangled cry sounded above him, muffled only by the pounding of his blood in his ears. He still wasn’t certain how he’d gone from unwanted asshole to loving husband in what felt like a heartbeat, but he wasn’t going to waste this chance. And by the time he was finished, the only words that would come to her mind were ‘I do’ and ‘again’.
He backed away slightly, watching her pretty nether lips quiver at his departure. They glistened with her juice, and he knew she was close to climaxing.
“Damn, darling. I’ve only just started and you look desperate.”
“You’re looking pretty anxious
