stop, right the fuck now. “Are we any closer on nailing this sucker? Evidence? Surveillance footage of the little boy that was taken? A witness? Anything?”
“Nah, man, this blows.”Goffa adds. “The little boy was taken from the park, through the woods. No surveillance, no witnesses, no nothing. All we can fucking do is sit on our thumbs, wait for them to screw up.”
“Keep at it, boys. We need to put these fuckers into the ground. Is this all the info on the case we have?” Broke nods as he sees me pointing to the file on the table. I pull it in front of me and turn to Depay. “What’s the status of the abuse case you’re working on?”
“Transferred the woman to a safe house. The fucker is still under ground. We’ve got a few leads, nothing solid yet. Working on it, Prez.”
I know Depay’s got this, that’s the reason he’s on this case alone. Now we’ve got just one more thing to discuss.
    “Chopper, whatcha got for me?”
“Solid lead to Frankie D. He’s been hiding out in an abandoned shed, about twenty miles from here.”
This makes me smile. We’ve been looking for the fucker for a couple of weeks now. Zack, the president of Areion Fury, wants this guy dead. Frankie D. kidnapped and hurt Zack’s ol’lady, Blue a few weeks ago. The fucker got her mom killed three years ago and even killed her father and brother a few months back. Blue is Lynn’s best friend and Zack is Lynn’s brother. That's a lot of pressure and I need to nail this guy.
Not only that, Frankie D. and Broken Deeds had a rough past. My dad used to have a contract with him. Taking care of tough clients, rough em up so they’d sell their property over to Frankie D. but when I became president, that shit was fucking over and done with. I only handled the cases I handpicked. I was trying to get ahead of the game but that is all over now.
Frankie D.’s son had taken over the business when his father had gone missing. Well, not so much as missing, on the run is more like it. The son always handled it better, a little less brutal and a little more legal. Frankie D.’s time was up. I sure hope he enjoyed his last days on this fucking earth. Time is ticking and he is near his end.
“Thanks, Chopper. I’ll call Zack to let him know. Maybe it’s best if you work on it together with their intel guy. Or intel girl, Nerd, for that matter. I’ll get Zack to contact you, yeah?”
    “Sure, Prez.” Chopper nods.
As we spend another half hour going through more club business, my eyes keep sliding back to Lynn. She’s got a huge smile on her face and she’s talking to Mila. Those two seem to have hit it off. Makes me proud since I knew she’d fit in just fine. Seeing her glare at Alex, I’m sure the ho is taunting her. Lynn raises her nose in the air and turns her head back to Mila, resuming their discussion and ignoring the cunt.
Yeah, fucking proud of my ol’lady. My dick has been hard for her these last few days and I'll be damned that this isn't helping. I wanted to give her time to get back to her old self after that guy attacked her, but that shit ends right now. If she’s healthy enough to jump on my back, then she’s healthy enough to be jumped on. My dick is getting wet tonight. Either by her sweet juices or in that hot little hell mouth.
I start to get up. Business has been discussed and I want to take my woman home. Brothers start to leave church as I walk to the door with the file Broke left for me in my hand.
“A word, Prez?” Goffa asks me.
Broke walks by me and slaps me on the back. As he passes, he murmurs. “No hard feelings, right brother?”
I don’t get a chance to ask what the fuck he’s talking about, since Goffa is in my face. “You sure about this?”
He points to the file in my hand. He knows me too damn well.
“Yeah, I’m fucking sure.” I say. “She’s good at this shit, I know she is. She’s got this whole different angle to look at things. We need a fresh set of eyes, you
