she needed him. Anyway that’s the past. Now I get to finish what started so many years ago.” She says smiling as I hear the trucks pulling in. I can’t let her hurt them. I look at her and back to the driveway. I figure my best chance is to run and hope she isn’t a good shot but I was wrong. As I start to run towards the driveway I hear the shot go off and instantly feel pain in my side and I fall. I hear another shot and Tracker’s voice. He is screaming my name but it all sounds so distant.
Draven
We pull into the driveway of the club and I am somewhat conscious. I know I have lost a lot of blood but I'm alive and that’s what matters. As we pull up the driveway I see a big commotion in the yard next to club. I try to look but it’s hard to see. As we pull up all I can see is that long dark hair cascading across the grass. I know in a second that it’s Casey laying there. I pull myself out of the car and fall trying to get to her. Tracker runs over and grabs me. “You need to get inside man.” He says trying to help me up. “No what happened to her?” I scream at him. He shakes his head. “She’s not good man.” Tracker says and try’s to pull me towards the door. I push him off and pull all my strength to make it to her. She has to know I'm here. I fall right next to her as Doc is working on her. “Casey, baby.” I whisper next to her head. She doesn’t move. “We need to get her inside.” Doc yells and the guys all run and help pick her up. They carry her inside and all I see is her lifeless arm dangling as they walk. I can’t lose her too. I look down and I cry. Tracker comes up next to me and he kneels down and puts his arm around my shoulder. “I can’t loss her too man.” I say and he pats my back. “You’re not man. She’s tough.” Tracker says as I cry. He sits next to me. I'm not sure how long we sit here but he finally pulls me and helps me to the door.
Tracker opens the door so I can walk in. I don’t see anyone but Bell and as soon as she looks up and sees me she runs to me with tears in her eyes. I hug her not caring that I'm bleeding all over her. “She will be ok Bell.” I say softly and she nods. She tells me that they took Casey back to one of the rooms. I nod and head that way. I'm walking down the hallway when Doc steps out of my room. “We need to get you fixed up.” He says looking at me and I shake my head. “I need to see Casey.” I say and start to walk around him. “You can but let me fix you up ok?” He says and I nod as I walk into the room. Casey lays there in my bed and she looks so peaceful. More than I have ever seen before. I don’t cry. I can’t. I have to be strong for her. I walk over to the bed and sit on the edge as I pick up her hand and bring it to my lips. I kiss every finger. Doc stands behind me saying something that I don’t hear. Everything seems so quiet. “Draven.” Doc says snapping me out of it. “Lay down let me fix these up.” He says and I nod. I lay down next to Casey never letting go of her hand. I don’t even feel what Doc is doing to me because I can’t take my eyes off of her face. “OK Draven. You need to rest. I stitched you up.” Doc says and stands up to leave the room. I lay there staring at Casey until I fall asleep.
Casey
I don’t know how long I have been laying here but I know I'm stiff as hell. I try to move and feel a sharp pain in my side. I open my eyes and look down and see the bandage. I try to turn and when I hear Draven’s voice. “Stop moving it will hurt worse.” He says in a sexy tone. I turn my head and see him lying there smiling at me. I smile at him. “You’re ok.” I say softly. “I'm ok.” He says back and smiles. He sits up and I see he is in pain. “You’re not ok.” I say and try to sit up. He puts his hand on my shoulder and makes me stay down. “I am ok. You don’t get up.” He says and I can see the pain in his face. I don’t argue though. “What happened?” I
