had been premeditated.
“You knew we were going to do this?”
Justin shrugged. “Let’s just say Ned and I were hopeful. And ready to be very persuasive if necessary.”
She shivered as Justin slowly withdrew his fingers from her. There was a lot to be said for their powers of persuasion.
Ned rose, and then offered his hand. She took it, marveling at the strength and confidence in his grip. It occurred to her that if she were alone with Ned, her fears would most likely get the better of her. While his intensity was sexy as hell, it also scared her a bit. Having Justin there tempered the fear, broke some of the hardcore sexual tension and made her feel as if she were standing on steadier ground.
Yet another way her bosses made an amazing team.
They walked through several darkened corridors, leaving behind the thumping bass of the dance floor, the crack of whips and cries of pain and pleasure—each sound adding to the magic of this surreal night.
Finally they entered a less crowded, much quieter area. The hallway here was more ornate, losing some of the seedy look of the rooms they’d just left. For a moment, she could almost pretend they’d entered some five-star hotel.
Ned turned to look at her. “If you need sweet from us, if your expectations for a ménage are different than this, we can go somewhere else, give you what you—”
She cut him off. “I don’t want sweet. Or soft. Or gentle. I just want you. Both of you.”
She’d given herself one night to be with them. While she didn’t doubt they’d restrain their darker natures to offer her the most magical night she could ask for, they would be holding back what they really wanted from her. And she would hate it.
Justin placed his hand on her lower back, forcing her to look at him. “Bells, I know you said only one night, but we could go for two. Take tonight to teach you about the beauty of making love with three. Then come back here next weekend to unleash all our freaky fantasies.”
She was already tempting fate. Any more than tonight would spell disaster for her. Bella was struggling to keep a lock on her heart, to hold her feelings for these men at bay. Adding another night in their arms—especially a romantic one—would break her. Destroy her. Better to stick to the fantasies of the flesh, the kinkier the better. If kisses and soft words came into play, she was a goner. “No. Tonight only. Here. Wild and unrestrained. What did you say at the office, Justin? No holds barred?”
“As you wish.” Ned led her to one of the doors, produced a key and unlocked it. Bella realized the hallway was as far as the resemblance to a fancy-schmancy hotel went.
She stepped into the bedroom, wondering what sort of wicked wonderland she’d entered. The room was beautifully adorned with rich colors and lit by dozens of candles. However, that was it for normalcy. In contrast, the furniture and decor looked like something out of a madman’s dungeon as her gaze took in the St. Andrew’s cross, various padded benches—God only knew what they were for—restraints on the four-poster bed, an open chest of sex toys, and wall full of whips, chains and ropes.
“Holy shit,” she whispered.
Justin stroked her arm seductively. “Think we can cover the freaky fantasy basics with this?”
She closed her mouth when she realized it was hanging open. She was speechless and scared spitless and so turned-on, she wondered if simply walking across the room would provoke another orgasm.
“We’ll start slow.” Ned placed a comforting hand on her back and guided her farther into the room. She heard the door close and the lock flipped.
“Hey, Bells.”
She found Justin studying her face, concern in his eyes. “You remember your safe word, right?”
“Pennsylvania.”
He gave her a comforting grin. “Good girl.”
“Feeling brave?” Ned asked.
She smiled. “I’ve made it this far, so I think it’s safe to say I’m either the most courageous woman on
