through college doing part time jobs and whatever else she could to get by.
Kids like this Erin chick had parents that paid for everything. They went on hiking trips and thought they were more in touch with nature because they went hiking and drank organic coffee. The anger was giving Abby some energy back and helping her forget some of the pain. Maybe she could use that in her favor.
“Now ladies. Let’s not fight. Not yet anyway. You see, Erin. Abby here is very special to me. We had something really special going for us, but she decided to throw it away. Pretended as if I never even existed. Now, what kind of man would I be if I let her get away with that?” He explained.
“We didn’t have anything. You’re a fucking psycho.” Abby corrected.
“That’s your opinion. You see Abby, I knew from the moment I first saw your profile picture you were special. We had a connection. You might deny it, but I felt it. You are my soulmate. You know it and I know it. However, you chose to hold back from me, to withhold your soul. But it’s mine. Since you wouldn’t give it to me, then I have to crack you open and pull it from you.”
“You are so fucking sick,” Abby said. “No part of me is yours. You could cut me up in little tiny pieces. Not one part of it belongs to you and never will.” She shocked herself at her own boldness toward him, but there was nothing more he could do to her. Nothing he did would hurt any worse than the pain already inflicted. He’d be doing her a favor by killing her. So she decided to let loose.
Rodney ignored her insults and turned back to Erin.
“You see the kind of disrespect I have to deal with? This is why I have to resort to these kinds of measures.”
“Oh, new girl.” Abby said. “See that mess under my legs? He cut my fucking pussy out. That’s what is in store for you. You think he’ll let you go? He won’t. Not unless he feeds you to the hogs outside. This is it for us, both of us. You were dead the second you knocked on that door.”
“No. I have a family. I graduate in a few months. I got all my dogs I rescue, they depend on me!” Erin said as she nodded toward Abby. “What does she have? A pretty face? A good body? Who else is looking for her? Who will miss her if she’s gone? Let me go and you can have it both ways, you can have your dream girl, and help make the world a better place.”
This chick was seriously pissing Abby off. She was wanting to scrap the bitch’s vag out herself and feed it to her.
“All right. Enough talk. This has been a fun little get to know you thing, but I think we need to get back to work. Erin, you make a valid argument, but I’m afraid the answer is no.” Erin began to squirm as Rodney dug through his toolbox and came out with what looked like an eyelash curler but with a thin razor blade on the end. “While I admire your determination to leave, and even to throw your fellow captive to the wolves so to speak. You have seen things that cannot be unseen.” He clicked the lash curler open and closed. “So for that, I must make sure that, for the rest of your short life, you don’t miss anything.”
Chapter 15
He hadn’t been lying, he did enjoy the conversation, but the begging and arguing had grown tiring. While he was shocked that Erin would so readily allow him to just do whatever he wished to Abby as long as he didn’t harm her, he shouldn’t have been. The girls didn’t know each other and while many people would be selfless and want to rescue their fellow man, others were all about self-preservation. Erin was still young and apparently over estimated her value to society. If anything he was doing her a huge favor.
“Ok. Just hold still,” he said. “It might hurt a bit, but soon you’ll be free from the prison of your own mind. You’ll have the whole world before you.”
