question.
“I’m not really sure. My father
was a lawyer, so I just figured that was what I was supposed to do. I enjoy my
career and I’ve been fairly successful at it.”
“I’m going to guess you have been
very successful based on what I see.” Lily has a big grin on her face. I feel
my cock start to get hard again. This woman is going to kill me.
“Thanks, I’ve been lucky. What
about you? What made you decide to go into the wedding planning business?” I
have to get my mind out of my pants.
Lily sighs. “I guess I just
didn’t think there was anything else for me. I like to plan events. A few of my
friends got married about ten years ago and asked me to help them plan. Things
just grew from there. My dad passed away and my mom gave me some money to start
the shop from his life insurance. The business was profitable until last year
when the economy tanked and we’ve been steadily losing money since.” She looks
at her lap and I can see tears in her eyes.
“Hey, it’s going to be fine. I’ll
do whatever I can to help you get things back on track.” I can’t help it, I
need to touch her. Walking around the island I sit on the stool next to her and
take her hands, squeezing them lightly. Lily looks up and smiles slightly. One
tear escapes and I quickly wipe it away. I’m staring into her eyes and I can’t
believe how beautiful they are. I have to kiss her so I give her a small peck
on her lips. Patting her on the leg, I go back to preparing dinner.
“So, tell me about your mother.
We’re going to meet her tomorrow, right?”
Now it’s my turn to sigh. “My
mother’s had a tough life. Her parents were killed in a car accident when she
was young and her grandmother raised her. She met my dad and married him as
soon as she could, just to move out. They struggled financially for most of my
life, until we moved out here. My dad got in with a good firm and things got
better. Until she got a call from Dad’s secretary telling her he had collapsed
and was being rushed to the hospital. I was in law school when it happened. He
died of a massive heart attack. She just fell apart afterward.”
“Oh, Drew, I am so sorry. How horrible for both of you.”
“It was pretty bad. I finished
law school a semester early so I could get back here and watch out for her. Mom
dealt with her grief from the bottom of a vodka bottle. Eventually, that became
a couple bottles a day. Once I got back, I put her in rehab but the damage was
done. She started to develop memory loss. Doctors say she has alcohol-induced
dementia and it’ll only get worse. She also has some signs of cirrhosis of the
liver. So, now she’s in an assisted living facility with someone there to
remind her to take her medications and to make sure she doesn’t overdose. She
has good days and bad days, but so far there are more good ones. I know she’s
going to lose her memory soon, and then she won’t know who I am. I can’t thank
you enough for helping me with all of this.”
Lily smiles and blushes again. God,
that is so fucking hot.
“It’s sweet you care so much
about your mother to do this. I’m sure she’ll be very happy for you. I look
forward to meeting this special woman.”
“I just know she’s going to adore
you. Are you hungry? The sauce is ready and the pasta can be done in a matter
of minutes.”
“Yes, I’m starving. What can I do
to help?”
“You can sit there and look
beautiful. Would you like to eat in here, on the patio, or in the dining room?”
“How about in here. That way I
don’t have to move.”
“Sounds good. I’ll run and find
a Pinot Noir while the pasta cooks.”
I get the wine from the panty.
When I come back to the kitchen, Lily seems lost in thought, gazing out the
patio window. I stop in my tracks and just look at her. How in the fuck is
she still single? She’s beautiful with those striking green eyes, gorgeous
light brown hair, unbelievable tits, and that round ass. She has legs that
