door.
“Hang on, sweetie,” I called as I got out of bed and retrieved my robe from the back of the door.
I tied my robe tightly around me and opened the door for Ayden. I walked out into the hallway and immediately he took off towards the kitchen. I followed him and saw him waiting patiently on the stool at the breakfast bar.
“What do you want for breakfast, buddy?” I asked as I looked in the cupboard to retrieve the box of his favourite cereal.
    “Weetos, Mommy.”
    “Pardon?”
“Sorry, Mommy. Please may I have some Weetos?” he asked in his sweetest voice.
“Of course you can,” I replied as I poured him a bowl of cereal and put the kettle on.
“Thank you,” Ayden said as he waited for me to finish pouring the milk into his bowl.
I gave him his breakfast and made coffee for myself and Drake. It wasn’t long before he stirred and came walking into the kitchen in just a pair of jeans.
“Good morning, gorgeous,” he said as he wrapped his arms around me from behind and placed a kiss on my neck.
“Good morning,” I replied as I turned in his arms and placed a sweet, chaste kiss against his lips.
“Hi, Daddy,” Ayden said around a mouthful of cereal.
“Morning, buddy. Eat up and get dressed so we can go out,” Drake said as he took his coffee from the breakfast bar and ruffled Ayden’s hair.
    “Okay, Daddy.”
Drake and I sat in the lounge, sipping our coffee as we waited for Ayden to finish his cereal. When he got down from his stool, I made my way to the bedroom to help him get his clothes for the day before going and getting myself ready. Drake came in and grabbed a t-shirt, but before he could leave the room I wrapped my arms around him and kissed along his strong jawline. His day-old stubble tickled my lips and I kissed all the way to his ear, knowing it drove him crazy. His hands on my spine had me squealing. I pulled back and looked into the most gorgeous eyes I had ever seen. Hunger, lust, love, a whole host of emotions flashed across them. In an instant his lips were on mine, sucking my bottom lip into his mouth. I opened my mouth to him and he sought my tongue with his own.
“Breathe, baby,” Drake said as he pulled away slightly.
I let out the breath I didn’t realise I had been holding. Sometimes Drake took my breath away in a literal sense.
We finished getting ready and the three of us got into the car so Drake could drive us to Paignton Zoo. It was our favourite place, having got engaged there. But it was also one of Ayden’s favourite places because he got to see the penguins.

After a long day at the zoo, Ayden, Drake, and I were ready to return to the chalet. We had seen the wolf where Drake had proposed to me, the penguins for Ayden, and many more beautiful and exotic animals. Ayden had spent ages roaming around the Savannah habitat. There were so many gorgeous animals there that he had tons of fun and wore both Drake and I out. It was time to go back and get some rest before going out for something to eat.
“Someone had a long day,” Drake whispered.
I turned to see Ayden asleep in the back of the car. He looked so peaceful and relaxed.
“Well, he did have an adventure today,” I whispered, turning to look at Drake.
Drake’s hand found its way to my thigh and rested there as he drove us back to our chalet. I entwined my fingers with his and relaxed back in my seat.
The journey back didn’t take long and we were soon back indoors. Ayden was still asleep so Drake carried him to his room before taking my hand and leading me to the shower. He stripped me naked, then remained there gazing at me for a moment. I placed a chaste kiss against his lips then began to undress him. Once we were both naked, we turned on the shower and stood underneath the steady stream of hot water. It cascaded down my back and Drake grabbed the shower gel, squirting some into his palm to wash me down.
After washing each other, we stayed under the water and I traced my
