into her hungry opening.
“Joe,” she moaned. Her body clutched at him as he slowly retreated. The slick sounds of his fingers moving through her flesh echoed in the room. She arched against his hand, trying to add pressure where she needed it. His fingers sank deep, avoiding her tender nub. She bit into her forearm to keep from calling out as he stroked the sensitive spot deep in her sex. Her spine tingled as the tension continued to build. She opened her legs farther, raising her hips off the bed. She felt his fingers moving, spreading her juices before his mouth came over her. She gasped when a finger caressed the puckered opening of her ass, lightly at first, then pressing more insistently. She twisted against the surge of pleasure that pulsated from her ass to her pussy. “Wait … Joe…” she whimpered.
She felt him press her thighs to the mattress while his sinful fingers continued to play. “Just relax, sweetheart.” Joe’s voice was gentle. A low, sensual whisper. “I won’t hurt you, Mandy. Don’t be afraid.”
Amanda couldn’t fight him. She knew she should push him away. Instead, her traitorous hips moved, straining for more. His touch was light, teasing. He circled the tiny puckered opening. The pad of his finger pressed against her, barely penetrating her outer ring. Nerve endings she didn’t know existed fired lightning through her blood. She couldn’t think. She felt the heat of his mouth press against her and she was lost. She was a slave to his hands, his wicked fingers that were driving her need higher and higher. She was on fire. She could feel the perspiration on her skin as she clutched at his head. She didn’t know if she wanted to push him away or pull him closer.
He continued to caress her anal opening as he stroked his tongue across her swollen clit. His teeth nipped at her. She writhed beneath him, her head thrashing until her whole body came apart. Starbursts of light exploded behind her eyelids as her orgasm ripped through her. She opened her mouth in a silent scream as his tongue drove deep into her pussy, extending her pleasure until she quivered with it. “Mercy…” she begged as he swallowed her release, “mercy.”
Her legs shook uncontrollably as she collapsed to the bed. Joe stretched out beside her. She rolled into him, curling tightly against his side. His arms came around her, surrounding her with his delicious warmth. She sighed. “I so love your promises.”
He made a sound that was all satisfied, arrogant male. “Sleep,” he whispered. His lips pressed against her forehead and she fell into oblivion.

Chapter 6
Joe found a stockpile of unopened toothbrushes in the bathroom and made use. His head ached, each subtle throb a reminder of why he rarely overindulged. That didn’t explain the throb in his dick, though. He’d definitely overindulged with that particular part of his anatomy. It should be as limp and exhausted as the rest of him.
    And yet…
He looked down at the offending organ jutting out from his stomach. He’d been disappointed to find himself alone when he woke up. His raging hard-on had been positively angry.
He smiled. Remembering her drowsy moans only rushed yet more blood to the lower part of his body. He could hear Amanda below, speaking in soft tones that soothed his nerves. He assumed she was talking to her brothers. He promised himself not to tear their heads off for putting a damper on his morning.
    Ah, promises. Damn it.
He’d never been so attracted to anyone before. Of course, she was gorgeous. But it was more than that. She was tough, full of fire. The way she handled her brothers had him wanting to puff his chest out with a pride he had no right to feel. Not to mention the way she’d handled herself in the bar.
But she was insecure about herself. After being betrayed, not once but twice, Joe couldn’t really blame her. What were those guys thinking? He wanted to track them down and beat the ever-living shit out of them
