back to the bedroom, Gus is waiting by the door. Stopping where I am, I look over at him.
“Egypt, Jake told me to get you for breakfast,” he says.
“Alright, Gus, Let me get my boots on and I’ll be ready,” I say.
Walking over to where I left them last night, I start to put them on. It still hurts to bend my knee. And I still walk with a bit of a limp.
“I’m ready, Gus, thanks for babysitting me,” I say.
“Not a problem, Egypt,” he says smiling.
Shaking my head, I follow him out the door, looking around the guys are up and going about their morning. Some are eating, others are drinking coffee and there are a few doing different things. I do not see Jake anywhere or Hunter for that matter. They must be outside. Making my way to the bar there is an empty seat so I sit down. Willie comes over with coffee and hands it to me smiling. I like the tall black man, he can’t help that his boss is a total prick!
“Morning, Egypt, hope you slept well and are hungry, I’ll get the food to you here right quick,” he says, smiling at me
“Thanks, Willie, I have a question for ya. What happened to that guy last night?" I ask.
Willie looks around to see if anyone is paying attention to us. “They took him off somewhere, Egypt. That’s all I know."
“Oh, thank you, Willie,” I say.
I go back to drinking my coffee and listen to the guys talk around me. I hear the two next to me talk about Hunter and how much trouble he is in. I really didn’t think Jake would do anything about what he did to me, but I guess I am wrong. Hearing a huge commotion outside, I look over that way.  I can’t really see anything, but how the guys are acting it is something big.  Getting up I start my way over to the door. It is crowded by the door as everyone is trying to get out and see what’s going on.
Making it out the door, someone grabs my arm and pulls me to the side. Looking up, I see that it’s Gus. Looking out to the yard, I see it's Jake and Hunter and they are fighting. God! Jake is pounding on him good, too. Stepping closer, I watch it all unfold.
“What the fuck were you thinking Hunter, she’s a woman and you beat the shit out of her, you asshole,” Jake says.
“She’s just a chick, Jake. What the fuck, man? You're sticking up for her?” He wipes blood from his mouth.
“Hunter, I’m going to give you, just what you gave her,” Jake says.
Jake rounds on Hunter, Hunter doesn’t wait and rushes Jake. Jake grabs Hunter and throws him to the ground. Getting on top of him he starts punching him in the face. Jake stands up and kicks Hunter in the ribs a few times.  God Hunter is not moving I think Jake has killed him, I see Gus and a few other guys run to Jake and pull him off Hunter.
“Man, Jake, stop! You fucked him up good,” says Gus. I see a few guys drag Hunter into the house.
“Gus, you seen what he did to her, there’s no excuse for that EVER!” Jake says.
I can hear it in his voice that he is just barely hanging on. I slowly start my way back to the door and stop when I realize Jake is staring at me. A shiver runs through my body and I am actually afraid of him. Jake walks over to me and grabs my hips and pushes me to the house. My back hits the door jamb and pain shoots through it. My breath hitches.
“Jake, let me the hell go,” I say. Putting my hands on his chest, I push but he doesn’t budge. He leans in close pressing his body against mine and leans into my ear, I can feel his hot breath on my neck.
“You're mine tonight, Egypt, and I don’t care how I have to take you,” he says.
“I will not ever be willing sleep with you, Jake! GET THE HELL OFF ME. NOW!!” I grind out.
Struggling I try and get away from him, I can feel him laughing at my efforts. He grabs my wrists and pulls me to him, with my knee the way it is I fall into him. He pulls me through the door and drags me through the house.
“Jake, stop, let go of me you asshole,” I say. Taking my weight, I throw
