Prince of Fog: Book One
him, even after orgasm, far more than he cared to admit. Which was why he felt sad that Aether was pulling out already. It felt too soon. He wanted to stay with Aether buried in him for far longer.
“The guards should be coming here for their rounds in a few minutes. We’d better clean up.” Aether hurriedly started tidying up.
“Whatever happened to paying the servants to do it?” Charce sat up, still panting hard.
“Well, I don’t like paying overtime.” Aether smiled, scooping up the capes and tossing them back in place. “Come on, let’s go back to our room.”
“You want me to sleep there tonight?”
    “Of course.”
“But we are sleeping, right? We have an early start tomorrow.”
    “Well…”
“You want Round Two? Where do you get so much energy?”
“Just looking at you makes me horny.” Aether smiled, running his fingers along Charce’s lips. “It’s quite fascinating.”
“I’m glad I fascinate you enough to fuck me in the armoury.” Charce sighed.
“Oh, not just the armoury. I’ve dreamed of fucking you on my throne, in fact.”
    “What?”
“Legitimately dreamt of it last night after we were done.”
“You’ve got to be kidding me.”
“Do you want to make my dream a reality?”
“No! We’ll get in a lot of trouble if we do that.”
“I’m the King. I should be able to fuck wherever I please.”
“Should. But you can’t. I can’t do everything I like either.” Charce looked away.
“Hey, don’t limit yourself just because you’re the Prince. You should be happy if you choose to. Do anything you want to do.”
    “I know.”
    “Do me, for instance.”
Charce broke into laughter. “It is a lot harder to achieve what I want in my kingdom. We have many more problems. I can’t just do anything I want.”
“It is harder, but you can still achieve it. One day. Your kingdom will get through this. With my help. Let’s keep trying together. You’ve got me on your side now too.”
    “Have I?”
“Of course.” Aether smiled, pulling Charce in for a hug.
Charce hoped so. He could feel Aether’s cum still in him, and he wondered if he was just being taken for another ride. He took a deep breath and released it. Even if Aether was lying to him, somehow, he still felt satisfied. Aether could touch him when no other person could. He could forgive Aether for anything, just for that fact alone. For letting him experience being touched and touching another human being again, Charce felt like the years to come could be endured, even if this memory was all he had. Even if Aether betrayed him ultimately. Aether would always be the King of a rival kingdom after all.
Aether held Charce’s hand as they left the Armoury, and Charce squeezed it as they walked back to the King’s bedroom. Their footsteps echoed down the now silent corridor.
Charce tightened his hold around Aether, hoping that he wouldn’t be betrayed. The only person in the world that could stand to touch him, and Charce didn’t know if he could be trusted. Even if he could be trusted, could the people around Aether be trusted to support him? Would the populace support him? Or would Aether refuse help after understanding the truth?
He was worried what Aether would make of his kingdom beneath tomorrow. The reality of the situation might overwhelm Aether. The problem wasn’t as easy as Aether thought it was, and Charce only hoped it hadn’t worsened in his time away from the Underworld. Even spending the night here in Aether’s bedroom was a risk. A lot could change in one night.
“I promise. We’ll straighten things out.” Aether looked seriously at Charce.
“If things could be straightened out with just a promise, I would have done it long ago.” Charce smiled grimly. “Just do what you can, Aether. We all have our limits.”
“I think limits are there for us to break through,” Aether smiled.
“Even though you don’t really care about my people? You’re willing to waste your time
