supported by the mattress. It wasn’t as uncomfortable as she’d
expected. He put a pillow under her shins, and another under her chest. The
support was good.
    “Sam,
as this procedure is a particular favorite of yours, I want you to tell me
exactly what it is about it that you enjoy. We’re going to take it slow, so you
can think about each step. Now, I have you naked across my lap. What do you
like about that?”
    She
steeled herself. “I like being helpless, knowing you’re taking care of me whether
I want you to or not.” She paused. “I like not being able to hide anything from
you. Not wanting to hide anything from you. I’ve never felt that before.”
    His
hand came down warmly on her back. “That’s excellent, sweetheart. That tells me
quite a bit, right there.” He snapped on a pair of latex gloves, and she squirmed.
“You like it when I put the gloves on. Why is that?”
    “I
don’t know. That one’s harder. I guess it’s clinical, and that feeds into the
medical kink, and it’s a signal that you’re about to do something invasive to
me, which is a little scary, but exciting, because I know it’s probably going
to feel good.”
    “Very
nice. And yes, it will feel good.” A cap popped open, and after a few
seconds it closed again. His big hand spread her buttocks and he touched the
cool, wet bulb to her anus. Reflexively, her muscles clamped down, and then
relaxed.
    “Tell
me how you’re feeling now,” he said.
    “Excited.”
    “Because?”
    “Because
it’s going to feel so good when the thermometer slides in, and I know you won’t
let me push it out.”
    “Damn
right, I won’t. And if you resist, I won’t hesitate to call for backup to hold
you down while I take your temperature, because it needs to be done. Anything
else?”
    How
was she supposed to think straight at all right now, let alone be articulate? “I
love that you’re paying attention to me. That doesn’t happen much in real life;
not without a fight, anyway. And a lot of my job requires me to suppress my own
identity in order to be objective about the story I’m working on. Here, I can
be me in a way that I can’t be anywhere else. With anyone else.”
    He
was silent, and she began to worry. She’d revealed too much, and felt the
tension creeping into the back of her shoulders.
    “Sam,
look at me.”
    She
turned as much as she could, and looked him in the eye.
    “When
you and I are playing together, I’m your dom. I will always give you my
complete attention, and ensure no harm comes to you. Do you understand?”
    Her
heart skipped a beat. “Yes, Sir. Thank you.”
    “And
what will you do for me?” he said.
    “I’ll...
trust you.”
    The
corner of his mouth quirked up. “Sounds like we need to work on those trust
issues, sweetheart.”
    “And
I’ll try to obey you.”
    “You’ll
do better than try. You will obey me, or take the consequences.”
    “Yes,
Sir.”
    “Keep
still, now. Just enjoy this.”
    She
tried to be good, to close her eyes and concentrate on how blissful it felt as
he pressed the cool bulb of the thermometer inside her. The rest of the
slippery glass rod followed, slow and deep.
                She
whimpered, and he laughed.
                “You
know you love this, so why do you whimper when I do it?”
                She
considered. “It’s better... easier , when you force me.”
                “Listen
to me, sweetheart, No shame, no judgements, only pleasure. Taking your
temperature makes me hard as a rock, and I’m not ashamed to admit it. I love
the way you’ve submitted to me, or made me force your submission. I love the
feel of you, warm and soft across my lap. I love examining and exploring your
body and getting to know you. I love fucking you, trying to give you more
pleasure than anyone else ever has, and I can do that because you’ve been
honest enough to tell me what it is you really want.”
