couldn’t help but close her eyes and throw her head back so that it was flush against the mirror.  Caleb’s thumb continued tracing circular motions as he leaned forward so that his forehead was resting against the top of her head.  He dipped his head slightly so that his mouth was close enough to her ear that he could reach the top of it.  He attached his mouth to it and continued kissing down towards the lobe where he nibbled on it slightly.  Once satisfied, he let out a sigh with heated breath that caught Maggie, causing her to move her head forward to rest on his chest.  Moving slightly forward as well, Caleb rested his lips beside her ear again, this time to whisper to her.
    “I want you so bad.”
Maggie groaned in response.  “The feeling’s mutual.”
Neither of them moved from their new found positions, except for Caleb stopping his ministrations and moving his hands down her body in a painfully slow motion, exiting where they had entered.
    “We should probably...”
    “Dance?” Maggie finished for him.
    “Yeah.  I just...”
“I know.  Me too.” Maggie finished once again, smiling against his chest.

They both regretfully left their spots against the mirror, knowing what they had to do.  Caleb walked over to the stereo system that had been broadcasting silence for who knows how long, and pressed play to start the song once again.  Maggie and Caleb assumed their position and began the dance they were supposed to have completed at the start of the night before becoming preoccupied.  While Maggie and Caleb knew that dance class was meant to actually dance, that didn’t mean they weren’t without their fun.  The passion that was to be present in their steps was there tenfold and more often than not, that caused their routines to end with sessions like before up against the mirror.

Chapter Fifteen

After seeing each other in and out of class for about a month, Caleb had let Maggie know that he had to head to Ontario for a few days.  Because of the frequency of their dates and time together, the thought of going even a few days without seeing him put Maggie in a bit of a downer mood.  What could she say, she was smitten; a fact that both delighted her and frightened her.  Regardless of the latter, she knew she had to push those thoughts aside and go with her heart and her gut.

Sensing this downturn in Maggie, Caleb planned a special night out for the two of them.  Friday night, after their last class together until he was to get back, Caleb told Maggie to go and change and to meet him back in the studio.  Maggie did as was requested and returned expecting to find Caleb ready to go to wherever their planned outing was to be.  Instead, when she returned she was met with a darkened studio and candles lighting the space, the flickering lights doubled by the mirror’s reflection.  After her eyes adjusted to the dim lights, Maggie looked around searching for Caleb when the sounds of Van Morrison’s “I’ll Be Your Lover, Too” came out of the stereo.  As her eyes darted over to its place in the corner, she saw no one, but no sooner did she feel two strong arms wrap around her waist from behind.
“How did you...?” Maggie trailed off.
Resting his head on her shoulder and p lacing a gentle kiss on where it meets her neck, Caleb responded casually “Remote,” as he removed it from his back pocket with a sly grin, producing it for her to see.
    “Very smooth, Mister .”
With a gentle push of his hand, Caleb guided Maggie in to the studio and closed the door behind them.  In addition to the candles throughout the room, there was a blanket and pillows set up on the floor for them.
“Have a seat” Caleb instructed as he went to the cabinet in the corner and pulled out a bottle of wine and two glasses.
“You had this all p lanned.” Maggie mused.
All Caleb did was smile in response as he joined Maggie on the blanket and poured them both a glass of
