Gracie’s hand.
    “Why
doesn’t he want me?”
    “He
does and that’s his problem.”
    “I
don’t understand.”
    “Men
get things backwards sometimes. He wants you and that’s why he puts up that
fence. He doesn’t think he’s good enough for you.”
    “Then
I have to convince him he is.”
    “Ryan
Doyle is a stubborn man.”
    “Maybe
I didn’t bring him enough pleasure. Maybe you and the girls can show me how to
make myself irresistible to him.”
    “Gracie,
I think you already are and that’s the problem,” said Maggie.
“Please?” asked Gracie. She moved again and groaned.
    “Okay,
but first I think we need to get you into a bathtub with some warm water to
help take away some of that pain.”

    Ryan
couldn’t sleep in very much the same way he’d had restless nights after the
incident five years ago.
    Had
it been five years already?
    He
walked outside and looked up at the moon high in the sky. Montana was
beautiful. He never wanted to leave but with Gracie being around he might have
to go and be sheriff somewhere else. That was if some other town would let a
criminal be a sheriff. Grantsville had been more than accommodating to him.
    He
loved Grantsville, Maggie and the rest of the people so the last thing he
wanted to do was leave. If only he hadn’t ridden up to the canyon that evening
and found Gracie.
    That
was so wrong of him to think that. If he hadn’t, then probably no one would
have found her, and she’d without a doubt have died up there, without water and
exposed to the elements.
    He
leaned against the door jamb, continuing to look up at the sky as he did so. Tonight
had certainly taken a twist. When he’d woken up this morning he hadn’t expected
to have sex with Gracie. He should have been stronger. Should
have resisted her. It should have been her husband who took her
virginity. That was his prize not Ryan’s.
    He
walked back into his house, closing the door.
    Ryan
could still see her standing in front of him, her lovely curves and the dusty
pink nipples.   And her lying on the bed,
legs apart, pussy on full display. He almost came just recalling its splendor
and how it felt to be inside her.
    He
got back into bed looking up at the ceiling. He wanted her all over again.
    ****
    Gracie
hadn’t seen Ryan in almost a week. She knew he was avoiding her and he wasn’t
going to get away with it. If Maggie was right, and she suspected that she was,
his motive was because he wanted her. Now all she had to do was break down
those barriers he’d build up and enter the fort.
    She
carried the cake she’d made and headed for his house. She’d been given lots of
instruction in the art of pleasuring a man so hopefully that and the cake
should work wonders.
    Her
pussy pulled just thinking about having sex with Ryan again. Maggie had assured
her the second time would be a special treat for her.
    She
knocked on the door. It was still early morning and a Saturday so she hoped she
wasn’t waking him. When a bleary eyed Ryan opened the door she guessed she had.
    “Gracie,
what are you doing here this early? Everything okay with Maggie?”
    “It
is but I baked you this cake and I wanted to bring it to you.”
    “Cake?”
    “Yes,
it’s made with flour and you eat it.”
    He
smiled. “Guess you’d better come in and set it down on the kitchen table.”
    Gracie
walked behind him into the house. He was wearing jeans and nothing else.
    “Did
I wake you?” asked Gracie.
    “Well,
I was just about to get up.”
    She
sat the cake down and untied her shawl.
    “I
haven’t seen you since…”
    How
did she phrase it?
    “I’ve
had lots to do.”
    “Why
do you avoid me?”
    “I’m
not sure that I do.”
    She
walked over to him. Stood on tiptoe and kissed him. “The other night I couldn’t
kiss you because you were a paying customer and those are the rules.”
    She
made him smile. “They sure are.”
    “But
today the rules are different.”
    “Really.”
    “And
I can do this all I
