pleasure.
By the time he was completely spent, his entire being trembled. He wasn’t sure how he’d kept from falling on top of the slight figure of LeeLee, but with great effort he held most of his weight on his forearms, knowing he was still too heavy.
“I’m never letting you go,” he mumbled against the healing wound on her neck.
She licked him where she’d bitten him. “Good,” she said, her hands moved in a soothing motion up and down his back. “Will it always be so…”
He looked down into the most beautiful face in all the realms, and saw true wonder in her expression. She made him feel like a king. Her lips kicked up in a grin.
“Only with you. And only with me,” he warned.
He made to roll but her arms and legs tightened around him. “Don’t leave me.”
“Never.” He meant it. He’d never leave her. “I was going to roll so I wasn’t crushing you.”
Her eyes glowed. “I like you on top.”
He too was pleased right where he was. “I’m too heavy, and besides, there are many other positions, love.” Using his strength, he rolled, taking her with him until she was lying on top, his dick still firmly ensconced inside her tight sheath.
“Oh,” she exclaimed.
Oh indeed. She made him feel alive for the first time. He’d only thought he was alive, but lying with LeeLee on top of him, he realized he’d only been half a man. Her unusual eyes glittered with joy and happiness. A sight he silently promised he’d make sure she would always have.
LeeLee ran her finger over his lips. “What are you thinking so hard about?”
Her soft touch felt good, but he realized she was waiting on an answer. “I was wondering if you were up for another round.” He lifted her up and pulled her back down, watching her face for any sign of pain.
A sly grin crossed her lips. “I think I can handle you.”
His body, already hard beneath hers, hardened further. Slater pulled her down, sealing their lips together, wrapping his arms around her and held her, never wanting to let her go.
Their loving was slow and gentle, and when they came, her entire form glowed, almost incandescent in its beauty. He knew without a shadow of a doubt he’d kill for LeeLee.
LeeLee yawned, and he settled her against his side. “You’ll be here when I wake up, right?”
The uncertainty had him pulling her closer. “I’ll be here when you take your last breath and beyond, love.”
She rubbed her face against him. With her lying next to him, he felt complete for the first time in all his years. He, who’d thought he lived the fullest life, and had no regrets, would have gladly gone against a blade for one of his brothers, now had something to live for. His heart beat a hard staccato. He’d do anything, be anything to ensure her safety above all others.
“Thank you for saving me, Slater,” she murmured. Her body going lax and he knew she was almost asleep.
“I’ll always save you,” he assured her.
He held LeeLee for hours after she fell asleep, worry plagued him she may never shift into her wolf, and if she did, could she shift back into human. Hell, when did his fun life become so damn complicated?
She shifted against him, and he vowed to make sure no matter what happened, his LeeLee would be safe and whole.
Chapter Five
LeeLee stretched, feeling wonderfully sore and chilly. The last part gave her pause. Slater had kept her warm all night with his body heat, but now she was cold. Opening her eyes, she saw him walking out of the bathroom gloriously naked. His big, muscled body remarkably graceful. She loved to watch him move. She wanted to trace the tattoos on his body with her tongue, and taste him like he’d done to her the night before.
“Good morning. I didn’t mean to wake you.” The bed dipped as he sat next to her.
She smiled at him. “I got cold.” She shivered for effect.
A knock on the door stopped whatever he was going to do or say.
“Yoo-hoo, are you two done with the
