stated then tried to move around him. He was so big, and the scent of his cologne invaded her nostrils. She felt that tingling sensation again and knew she was sexually attracted to him. She was to both brothers. What woman in her right mind, seeing two cowboys as sexy and good looking as the Cantrell brothers wouldn’t be turned on? Her pussy actually ached. What the hell? Then she thought about her vibrator and Millie’s comment about orgasms. Shit. She didn’t need this.
“You have help back at the farm?” Lewis asked her as he stood on the opposite side of her. She needed to get away from the deputy.
“I’ll be fine, Lewis, and thank you so much for your help. It was nice meeting you and I’m sure I will see you again real soon,” she replied.
“Anything you need, honey, you just come see me and I’ll take care of you,” Lewis stated then winked. She smiled, but then she saw both Max and Eric’s facial expressions. They looked downright angry.
Quickly she ran around the side of the truck, waving to Lewis as she said good-bye. The men moved out of the way, and she got the heck out of there.

“She’s a jumpy little thang, ain’t she?” Lewis stated as they watched Stacy leave the parking lot.
    “She sure is,” Max added.
“And hot, too, with that red hair and those big green eyes. Man, she’s a looker, huh?” Lewis asked.
Eric and Max nearly snarled at him. “She sure is. Maybe I should go help her unload that stuff at Marie’s?” Eric stated toward Max.
“You have to get those fences mended. I’ll take a ride by. I need to check up with Ron anyway. He said he’s missing some things from his shed.”
Lewis waved good-bye and headed back inside.
“So what do you think?” Eric asked Max.
“The poor girl was scared. It took everything I had not to rip Gutry’s head off for bothering her,” Max answered.
“I know what you mean. I felt the same way. I’m just glad we were over here when we were. He was going to try and make her get into his truck,” Eric stated, sounding outraged.
“Asshole. He better stay away from her.”
“She’s real pretty, ain’t she?” Eric asked his brother.
“Those eyes of hers are stunning, but I was real concerned over her reaction to the situation. What did you think?” Max asked.
“There was definitely something there. I know she felt an attraction to us. She was shaking like a leaf, and man, did I want to hold her in my arms and feel that body against me. She is built perfectly.”
“Yeah, I know what you mean. The way she felt leaning against my back while I was trying to get Gutry to retreat and leave her alone. It was hard to stay focused.”
“My dick is still fucking hard just thinking about it,” Eric replied then chuckled.
“The way she took off, I think she’s going to be hard to get close to. It may take some time.”
“Oh, I want to get close to her. I want to learn everything there is about her. Hey, I thought you were going to ask her about cooking?”
“We got sidetracked, remember? I’ll take care of it when I stop by Marie’s.”
    “Okay. I’ll see you tonight.”
Max watched Eric leave, and then he looked around the town streets. He clenched his teeth when he saw Gutry standing on the corner watching him. Max returned the look just as Wyatt pulled up in the sheriff’s truck. Max would let Wyatt know what went down and make sure he kept an eye on Stacy when she was in town. He didn’t like Gutry at all.

Stacy pulled up to the cottage still feeling shaky after the incident in town. She wasn’t sure which situation made her more nervous, the two Cantrell brothers or the creepy Gutry guy. As she got out of the truck, she began to grab the bags first and load them onto the front deck of the cottage. Just as she headed toward the back of the pickup truck, she noticed the sheriff’s patrol truck pull up the dirt driveway. Damn, she hoped he was going to see Marie about something. Oh
