something happened, darling?” Maria asked Josh.
But it was Jeff who answered. “Liz and Jennifer have disappeared. Gray and Chris are looking for them.”
“Oh, I just saw them.” Maria pointed over her shoulder. “They went toward the parking lot a couple minutes ago.”
“But then they would have passed by us,” Jeff said.
“Not necessarily,” said Josh shaking his head. “There are two other entrances. One leads straight to the parking lot.”
“That’s the one they went out of,” said Maria.
“Then we better go after them now. I can’t shake the feeling that there’s trouble brewing. And it would definitely be better, if Gray and Chris didn’t see it.”
“What shouldn’t we see?” Gray asked when he emerged from the crowd.
“We have the feeling your women are getting into trouble again,” Terence said.
    “Where are they?” Chris asked.
    “The parking lot, supposedly.”
    “Alone?”
With a shrug, Maria said, “Some guys left right after them, probably getting some air.”
    “Maria!” Josh said.
Gray and Chris quickly pushed through the crowd. Terence and Jeff followed.
“What’s wrong? They probably just wanted to get some fresh air. What’s so bad about that?” Clueless, she looked at Josh.
“Knowing Liz and Jennifer, they probably didn’t go out just to get some fresh air,” he said and pulled Maria after him. She assumed he meant that both women were enjoying themselves now with the four men. No wonder their husbands had reacted as they had.

Gray ran to the parking lot. Chris was next to him with Terence and Jeff just behind them. Gray looked around but couldn’t find Liz, Jennifer, or the men Maria had mentioned.
“Maybe she was wrong,” Chris said.
“Doubtful! It would be hard to mistake Liz and Jennifer for someone else.”
“Maybe they’re already back inside.” Josh said after he caught up.
“What about the men who followed them out? They have to be around here somewhere.”
Suddenly they heard noises and immediately ran toward them, turned a corner and stopped abruptly. Jennifer was banging a man’s head against a lamppost, and Liz had another and was introducing him over and over to Josh’s car, of all things. A third guy was hunched over on the ground whimpering to himself. A fourth man came lurching toward them, one hand holding his crotch. When he saw Gray and Chris, he went white as a sheet and braced himself with one hand on the wall before he collapsed. Gray ignored the man and continued on toward his wife, shaking his head.

Liz again banged the groper’s head hard against the hood.
“What did you say? What am I?”
“A woman that I never should have touched!”
“Well, then! Lesson learned! Do you see that here?” Liz said to the poor guy and held her hand with the wedding ring in front of his face. “That means I’m married. Keep your hands off married women! Keep your hands off

women who say no! Do you understand me?”
    “Yes! Never again!” he whimpered.
“Let him go, Liz! I think he’s had enough.” Gray stood behind her suppressing a smile. Startled, Liz whirled around and accidentally pulled the man’s hair again. He screamed and clung desperately to Josh’s car so as not to fall to the ground.
“Gray! What are you doing here?”
“Will you let him go already?” Gray said and pointed at the guy who could barely stand.
“Oh.” She let the man go and he slumped down. He held his head with both hands and groaned.
“You wrecked another car,” said Gray and shook his head with a sigh.
“But this time it wasn’t on purpose! He refused to apologize so I had to punish him. Besides, I was going to leave a note so the owner could contact me about the damages.”
“No need for that. The car belongs to Josh.”
“Oh! ... Um… I might have to replace a lamppost too.” Liz looked at Jennifer.
Jennifer grimaced after discovering a long rip in her dress. While she explained herself
