reached for the ketchup on the table and squirted it over them.
“Well, my word is my bond, I promised as an officer to live and die for my brothers,” he says sternly.
“Something obviously you know nothing about,” he said as he picked up his cleared plate and rinsed it.
“I think I know more about it than you give me credit,” she said stiffly. She noticed a small black tattoo on his neck it looked like a teardrop. She wondered what it signified.
“Not the way I see it,” he said turning away.
“Where does your dad live?” she asked while walking behind him.
“Up North,” is all he said as he started to put on his leather jacket.
“I need to get something things from the bathroom before we head out,” she said.
She went into the bathroom and her lacey black bra was still wet, she didn’t realize he would want to leave so quickly. She grabbed her bra and wet panties stuffing them into her satchel purse.
“Here,” he said tossing her a big leather jacket.
“What’s this?” She said.
“I am not some dumbass SQUID,” he said. A squid was an inexperienced rider that rode without proper gear Cinnamon was too familiar with what could happen if you were unlucky enough as to slide and burn.
One of the young boys in her father’s gang had been showing off and spun out hitting the asphalt, which tore into his body like a meat grinder. She grimaced at the memory and grabbed the heavy leather from Jake.
“It is giant sized,” she complained as she slipped on his extra leather jacket.
“Well, I suppose we could stop in somewhere on the way,” he said.
Jake stared into her eyes and she held his gaze for a long moment, she slowly slid her eyes to the left she didn’t want to be submissive to him. She felt the heat rise to her cheeks; she wasn’t sure why her body was responding this way. Jake was handsome, tall and there was something about him that made her want possibly more.
Once on the open road she felt alive, she had missed this part she thought to herself. Her mind started to drift as they road along the coastal road. She thought about her father he was always getting mixed up in something.
She didn’t mind the biker gang as a small child it was like having a large family of big tough uncles. When she turned, sixteen she started to get into drugs, having promised never to do them and breaking that promise her mother pulled her and her sister Sugar away from that life.
She ran away to her father’s gang and stayed for an entire year living free with no school, no curfew, plenty of booze and drugs. She held on tighter to Jake’s waist as they came around a tight curved corner. The ocean below churned, she smiled remembering how her and Sugar would meet up at the beach to meet guys.
They rode for two hours until they were back in Lincoln City, he pulled over to get some gas and she headed to the bathroom. She saw herself in the reflection from the store window she felt she looked a bit ridiculous in his giant jacket.
“Do you think we could stop off at my apartment?” she asked. She thought about her sleek tight fitting jacket hanging in the back of her closet, a hidden reminder of the life she left behind.
“Yeah, that should be fine,” he said. His hand went to the small of her back and lingered their while he checked out in the line inside the gas station.
Outside the store, he helped her on the back of his bike and Cinnamon let her hands clasp around his well-toned abs underneath his leather jacket. Every so often adjusting herself, she felt up his abs. He was defiantly fit she thought to herself.
Chapter 5
Once they arrived, she thought about calling for help but she knew it was no use; they would just keep coming for her.
Her apartment was a small studio nestled up on the hill across the highway where the ocean waves played below.
“So this is home huh?” he said as he walked around her small room. Her bed was a disaster with
