her eyes.
“You are right, little painter … at
least those parts you just demonstrated are in a good working condition!”
“Oh you … you jerk!  Let me
go!”
She slapped at his shoulders and he
slowly lowered her to the floor, his eyes burning on her bobbing breasts as she
stepped away from him.  She slammed her hands on her hips and glared at
him.
    “I am warn …”
“I must admit, Jenna.  You do
have sensational breasts.”
    She
looked down and screamed in frustration, yanked her top back up and with
another loud ‘Argh’ turned around and stormed out of the room.
    Two
days later, early Wednesday evening, Jenna relaxed on one of the deck chairs
next to the pool.  She just ate dinner and wanted to relax.  Adamant
not to think of the sensations she still felt running down her belly to her
core, every time she thought about what Callum did to her in the ballroom.
She leaned back and gazed at the
darkening sky, remembering how her brother, Kevin and she always counted stars
flat on their backs when they were little.
“Whishing upon a star, are you?”
She turned her head in his direction
and her breath caught in her throat.  It was the first time she saw him in
a suit and he looked gorgeous.  The suit was a deep charcoal with a white
shirt and a silver-grey tie.  He carried a package in his hands and held
it out to her.
    “What is it?”
“It is for you.  I prefer that
you wear these from now on while you’re working.”
She sat up slowly and took the package
from him.  She pulled it open and nearly started laughing.  She
reached inside and pulled the content out.  She took it out of the plastic
and unfolded it.  Her mouth gaped open and she glanced at him.
    “You are not serious?”
    “Of course I am.”
“I will die of heat in these things,
and they’re probably four sizes too big!”
    “You’re exaggerating.  I am sure
they will fit fine.”
“I can’t do my work properly if I am
uncomfortable.  I will be …”
    “Nonsense.  I bought five.
Just let me know when they’re worn and I will get you more.  Good night,
little painter girl.”
He walked away laughing at her scream
of frustration.
“I am not going to wear these damn
overalls, McGregor!”
    “Yes, you will!”
She stared at the white one piece
overall in her hands, with long sleeves and full pant legs to the hoot.
It is in the middle of summer!
He is demented if he thinks I am going to wear these atrocious things!
They’re worse than a sauna!
By eleven the next morning she was
ready to cut the damn overalls into a thousand strips.  She was so hot,
she could not concentrate.  To find some relief she removed her shorts and
top and only pulled the zipper up over her G-string and bra.
    “That feels better.  Not much,
but at least I can breathe!”
She sighed, kicked off her sneakers
and rolled the sleeves up as far they would go and then the legs, all the way
up to her knees.  The overalls were so big, if the zipper was open all the
way all she needed to do was shrug her shoulders and they slipped down to her
feet.
It took her the whole morning to build
the scaffolding type stand she normally used for murals.  She switched her
iPod on and opened the little pop-up speakers and pushed up the volume.
She was alone in the house and Ronan and Emily were already used to the booming
music during the day.  She was in the process of doing the final cleaning
process with a large oblong cylinder type broom, which swiveled as she ran it
over the wall.  The purpose of this was to remove any loose particles on the
wall.  Thereafter the broom was saturated with a cleaning solution that
stripped the final chalky film left by the first cleaning process.
She picked up the broom and started
rolling it with long, smooth strokes from the far end of the mural.  She
shook her hips in tune with the song and then smiled when an upbeat version of
‘We will rock you’ started playing.
    The devil on her
