Burning Desire
walked up next to her-feeling her body tense. I walked past her to check out her car. Tracking GPS was the device I pulled from the undercarriage of her car. Who the fuck was tracking her? Something wasn’t right. As soon as I pushed off the driveway, Rox and her head of hair was flying by me.

“Give this to the guys. It’s a GPS. I’m following you to the club house.” I handed it to her as she avoided eye contact with me.

“Fine. Be my fucking guest,” she said as she got in her car and waited for me to go back in and grab my shit. Once she saw me coming out, she was reversing out of the driveway.

My heart felt like it had been broken; he said I was nothing to him. I was so stupid to ever think we could be more. What a fucking joke.

“Son of a bitch,” I cursed as my tears rolled down my face. I quickly wiped them away before Chase caught me.

As soon as I pulled up, I saw Jake’s bike next to Charlie’s and my Father’s. I ran inside, not even looking back at Chase.

“Baby girl, you all right?” my father ran to me, taking me into a tight embrace.

“Yes.” I saw Jake walking up to us, I pulled back and my father kissed my forehead.

“If anything were to happen to you, I don’t know what I’d do. I promised your mother I’d keep you safe, always.” His hard eyes softened. They always did when he mentioned her.

“Daddy, it’s okay- I’m fine.” I held onto his wrists as he cupped my face. I’ll always be his little girl.

“Chase, we need a word, son,” My father said over my shoulder as he released me and I headed straight for Jake. His large frame engulfed me and he lifted my chin- and slammed his mouth down on mine. He was no Chase, but part of me still cared for him.

“You okay, baby?” He pushed my hair away from my face, and then rested his hands on the curvature of my ass.

I glanced back at Chase, who was watching intently. “Yeah, now that I’m with you.” I turned back to him and tucked myself to his chest. Chase walked with my father to his office- the door slamming shut.

“Nicole is on her way,” Jeremy said as he approached Jake and I.

“For me or for you?” I pulled his leg.

“Hardy har har. For you- I want you staying at my house- you’ll need some company, so she’s coming too.”

“No offense, Jeremy, but I can protect my own woman. The safest place for her is in my house- with me protecting her.” Jake slung his heavy arm over my shoulder. I saw Jeremy bite the inside of his cheek- he was ready to blow a gasket.

“No offense, under your protection, someone put this shit on her car. So, yeah, I’m taking my sister. End of it.” Jeremy’s large frame stood taller, it was like a damn peacock spreading his colorful feathers. Ugh men!

“Relax, guys. Babe- it’s not forever, plus you still got me when you want me.” I kissed his cheek. And I heard Nicole’s blacked out BMW M3 pull up to the clubhouse.

“Jesus Christ, where the hell is she?” Nicole came busting through the front door. The heads of the club turned her way, appreciating the view of her barely there outfit. She must have been in the middle of training one of her pole dancing classes. Strutting her stuff in black spandex booty shorts, a black sports bra under a half zipped grey hoodie and black Nike shocks.

“I’m okay, Nic.” She gave me the tightest hug. “Nic, lighten up, I’m fine. I promise- but you are going to suffocate me if you don’t ease up.” I patted her back.

“You have everything you need, Nicole?” Jeremy asked as he approached us. He rubbed his hand on the back of his neck, trying to be discrete about checking Nicole out.

I suppressed my laugh as Jeremy’s jaw tightened when she thumbed the bottom of her shorts, pulling them down over her butt cheeks.

“Yes, of course. But we will have to work with my schedule- I have class 3 times a week and the club Friday nights. How long are we crashing
