minute, contemplating which one was the bathroom. I pushed through the door on the right and stepped into a massive all-white walk-in closet that was probably the size of my bedroom at Heath’s. “Whoa!” I whispered to myself. There was a round ottoman in the centre. One wall had a massive mirror and a built in dresser with all his toiletries. Another wall was a built in shoe and accessories rack. The other two walls were divided into shelves and racks, separated for his suits, casual and home clothes.
I left his closet and went through the other door and lo and behold – the bathroom. Grey stone-patterned tiles canvassed the walls. The large white sink sat neatly atop a beige coloured cupboard. A ledge hovered above the sink, holding all his necessary toiletries and above it was a 4 foot long rectangular mirror. The shower stall was completely encased in crystal-clear glass and a pantry with fresh towels, soap, toilet paper and other essentials stood near it.
I looked at my reflection in the mirror, my hair completely dishevelled. I weaved my fingers through it, watching as it brushed past my shoulders. My eyes were stained red and I looked slightly pale; my vibrant chestnut skin was now a very dull brown. I splashed the cool water on my face and continued to watch my reflection. Is this real? I then smiled, biting on my lip, feeling giddy as ever. Collywobbles.
I then spread toothpaste on the bristles of my toothbrush and brushed my teeth. I took some of the Listerine that was on the ledge below the mirror. I sucked in a bit of air when I was done and exhaled in minty satisfaction. Now I could kiss the heck out of him!
I took off Jake’s shirt that I had on and was now completely naked. Where the heck are my panties and bra? I stepped into the shower stall and turned the faucet. Warm water then spouted down over my head in the most symmetrical and satisfying sprinkle ever. Now that’s what you call a shower head!

After my bath, I changed and went down into the kitchen and opened the refrigerator, scanning the items to see what I could whip up. I hooked up my phone to Jake’s stereo and put You Know You Like It by AlunaGeorge on repeat. I got lost in the music while I prepared the scrambled eggs, breakfast sausages and toasted garlic bread with sliced fruit, nodding my head and gyrating away, totally ignorant to the fact that I wasn’t home.
“Reese?” I heard the voice that broke me from my daze. I turned around, my face paled with embarrassment. He watched me playfully with a raised brow.
“Oh my God!” I palmed my face and went limp.
“No, go on. You look good.” He laughed. “Thanks for making breakfast. For a minute there, I thought you left but then I heard the music and smelled the food. What is that by the way? The music. Sounds cool.”
    “AlunaGeorge.” I sighed
“Nice.” He took notice of my facial expression. “What’s wrong?”
“Nothing.” I placed his plate on the breakfast bar. “Coffee, tea or orange juice?” I eluded.
“Oh? Didn’t we do this yesterday?” He smirked. “Juice is fine, Reese.”
“Reese? What happened to Trini?” He chuckled.
“I think we’re past that now.”
He walked up to me, grabbed me by the waist and pulled me toward him. The warmth of his bare skin sent shivers up my spine. I couldn’t help admire him; the way his collar bone intersected with his neck, the ridges of his obliques, that sexy scar on his left peck, that cute sharp incisor that protruded when he smiled, the way one of his eyebrows would arch really high when he talked or the way he always bit on his bottom lip when he stared at me – much like he was doing right now.
He gently stroked my hair as he looked straight into my eyes. Just watching those beautiful sapphire gems, blazing into mine, I felt like I would combust.
I reached up to him and he caught my lips with his, I could taste the minty aftertaste of his mouthwash. Every pore of my skin raised as his hands
