vibration. Just as she thought that she could feel anything more
from her orgasm, that she had died and gone to heaven, he gave her
one last thrust and shuddered against her. This caused her body to
enjoy his pleasure to a point that made her tingle all over.
As their breathing began to resume normal,
reality began to flood back into her brain. The thought of how
horrific her hair must be, and getting back into that dress and
heels on this chilly morning had no highlight to it. She had that
big account to meet with at noon and then her pestering account
with the guy she had to go out with on Thursday night had called
several times yesterday. So much for him covering for her. It was
hard enough lying to her boss when he kept calling her office. This
was the moment that her crashing reality came down on her.
His voice, so deep and rich, broke her mental
thought process. “How bout we shower. I have a blow dryer here, and
you can borrow some sweats. I’ll drive you to your place and then
to your work.”
He just took a huge load off her mind right
now. He answered all her, how the heck do I questions? “You sure? I
don’t want to be too much trouble.”
“I’ve got a rental in the parking garage
below. I still know this town like the back of my hand. They say
you can’t take the New Yorker out of you once you’ve lived
here.”
“They say that, huh?” She could not help but
adore this man. Their meeting might not have started out in a
romantic rush, but he was something. Something that kept taking up
space in her heart. He seemed so honest and heartfelt. Why he
remained a bachelor; she did not know? But then, she’d been hounded
for that same thing, settling down and getting married like her
sister. She had been in no rush until her career took off and well,
frankly, she had not met the one. He was cutting it close. It could
have been his skillful lovemaking calling all the shots right now,
but he was a definite first place prize.
By the time she was strolling into work, it
was as if she had ‘just got laid, really well’ on her forehead. The
inquisitive looks and daunting stares made her feel as if she was
naked walking towards her tiny office in the back.
Her smile would not fade for all the grey
days around the world. John Tally was by far a true gentleman in
every sense. After their love making in the shower, he got her a
healthy breakfast ready as she dried her hair and got dressed in a
pair of his grey sweats, fleece black top and hotel complementary
slippers. She was a sight walking into her apartment. The sweats
rolled up several times, and she was swimming in his top. He only
told her several times how adorable she looked in his clothes,
causing a happy thought in her head of where this could go and what
it could lead to.
He made her coffee at her place while she got
her hair, makeup and professional dress on for the day. He had her
at work in time for her meetings, and they had talked about seeing
each other Friday night. Her world was definitely looking up.
Who cares if it is not a white Christmas this
year, it definitely felt like the most wonderful time of the year
at this particular moment.
That was until her last appointment of the
day strolled in for their meeting.
The man rolled, no oozed, chauvinistic pig
out of every pore of his body. His balding head, his paunchy belly,
his over dosed cologne and beady eyes made her want to hide under
her desk. Instead, he stood leaning against her door unannounced,
early. In his hands was a bouquet of flowers and a weird grin on
his face.
He entered into her office slowly and closed
his door behind him. “For you.” He handed her the flowers.
She thanked him graciously than realized she
didn’t have a vase to put them in. “I’ll get a vase out of the
employee lounge after we meet with the others.” She really wanted a
few more minutes to herself before this meeting. She would be the
only woman in the group, and lately she definitely
