sharp and deep.
Tierney gasped, then settled into his rhythm, impaling herself gladly on him.
Her breasts ached for touching. She began to massage them, knowing what the
sight of that would do to him. He watched her, his eyes on fire. He caught one
nipple in his mouth then the other, going back and forth until she was about to
burst.
    “Now,” she
whispered hoarsely, “don’t wait.”
    He covered her
mouth with his own, his tongue echoing the moves of their hips. Finally they
both hit the sky, quivering so hard it seemed like the whole world was moving
with them.

    “So, do you
think my plan will work?” Tierney asked as she and Kiel wolfed
down a pair of Spanish omelets in the all white kitchen of her beach house.
    “I don’t know.
It’s tricky. Live TV and all that. Do you think this guy Weathering will go for
it?”
    “He’ll go for
anything that’ll get big ratings … and this will!”
    “But what if
he’s the bad guy?”
    “Then he’ll
find some way to pin it on someone else. But he won’t refuse to air the show.
Believe me, I know him. He gets off on high numbers!”
    “Let’s do it
then!”
    She smiled,
reached for a phone.

    It didn’t take
long to get everyone together once they heard Tierney’s voice and were
convinced that she was alive. And Weathering set up a live web broadcast for
that evening, getting the word out to fans on Tierney’s website and Facebook
page.
    Kiel ,
wearing some hot designer threads and a pair of sexy sunglasses eased a rented
silver Jaguar into the studio parking lot and escorted Tierney past the waves
of paparazzi. She looked like a divine scamp in a low cut red mini-dress and
matching stilettos, her hair wound up like an ice cream cone atop her regal head.
Her make-up was perfection, her attitude outwardly snarky but inside she was
shivering, fearful, unsure of her plan and every other thing – except Kiel .
He was the one solid, unwavering certainty in her life.
    The suspects
were gathered on a set built for a local talk show that Weathering produced.
When Tierney walked in, Kiel examined every face in the room,
could see that Aram and Betsy were overwhelmed with joy.
    “Look at your
parents. Still don’t think you can trust them?”
    She cast a
quick glance their way as they rushed towards her. Betsy swaddled her in
nervous arms while Aram cleared his throat a dozen times and kept
saying how good it was to have her there. Tierney was a bit overwhelmed herself
but she had to play it cool.
    “We’ll talk
after the show,” she assured them.
    “Tierney, I
know it isn’t the time for this,” her mother began, “but we want to say we love
you. We tried to say it before in all the wrong ways. I only hope you’ll give
us the chance to prove it to you.”
    “Yes, we … we
do love you, girl. I’m sorry I was so self-absorbed. But I guess I took my cue
from my own dad. I should’ve realized I’d wind up as much an ass as he was if I
emulated him.”
    Tierney sucked
in a deep breath, trying hard to quell an urge to sob.
    “Like I said,
we’ll talk later. I want you to meet Kiel .”
    “Who?”
    “She means me.”
He stepped forward. Betsy Evans perked up.
    “And who are
you?”
    “I’m Tierney’s
fiancé.”
    He shook her
hand; she smiled, a bit breathless.
    “Tierney, your
taste has improved immeasurably.”
    The cameras
were already rolling, had been since Tierney entered the studio. Bill
Weathering was standing in the corner, salivating. Dennis Evans was nearby, his
eyes twitching with hate as he watched his parents fawning over Tierney. Bodey
Gillette was helming the main camera; he couldn’t take it, or his own gaze, off
of her.
    “I am Tierney’s
fiancé!” Istvan Rader shouted as he strutted across the set.
    “You are not!”
Tierney countered. “Did you ever propose?”
    “It was my
intention. You know that. I was only waiting for the proper time.”
    “Well, I’m
sorry, but that time passed like six months ago.”
    “How can
