kissed his way back up to me until his face hovered over mine.
“You lit right up for me.” He smiled. “Loved you calling my name. Coming under my touch. So goddamn sweet.”
“Hmm,” was all I could say.
    My eyes were barely open.
“Yeah,” he kissed me on the lips.
He turned my body to face him, then kissed me deeper. I brought my hand up to hold his face, so I could kiss him back. Tasting me on him was hot as shit. I pulled back, so I could return the favor, get ready for the main course, but I had to get him ready. As I went to go lower, he pulled me back up and said, “No, no. Not that type of party.”
    “What?” I asked.
“That’s for another day. Tonight was for you. Well, for me, but for your pleasure.”
“So, you are saying I can’t give you pleasure?” I asked with all types of attitude.
    “Yeah, not tonight, anyway.”
    “That’s ridiculous.” I snapped.
“There she goes. Kitty showing her claws. It’s too late for your shit,” Ryan smacked me on the butt, then said, “I have no problems putting you over my knee and spanking that ass.”
Many thoughts came to my brain at that point and none of them signaled for me to have him leave. Actually, I was curious what a spanking would be like.
“You going to be a good girl?” he asked as I rolled my eyes. “Fine, you want to be naughty, do it tomorrow, when I haven’t worked a twelve-hour shift.”
    Oh.
    “Thank you.” I said.
His eyebrow raised and that arrogant smirk rose on his face.
“Ladies and gentlemen, D’asia Carey said thank you to me. Little old me.” He mocked crying.
“Oh my God,” I turned my back on him and moved to the other side of the bed.
He pulled me back and said, “No, sweetness. You sleep in my arms, till I have to leave. Okay?”
His words were a little slurred, like he was falling asleep.
    “Okay.”
“So sweet.” He whispered in my ear. “Not letting you go, D’asia. Telling you now.”
He was barely conscious, but I heard him.
I heard him loud and clear.
----
T he clock read 5 :30 AM, when I heard a voice saying, “Wake up.”
“What?” I was trying to figure out where I was and who was talking to me.
“Sweetness.” I heard and knew that was nobody but Ryan. “Come lock the door behind me. I have to go now.”
“Okay.” He pulled me up and literally walked me to the front door with my eyes still closed.
There, he unlocked them all, then leaned down to say, “I had fun last night.”
    “Me too.”
“I want more of that. Tonight, we’re going to eat at Musholum in Brooklyn. I’ll pick you up on the West side, okay.”
    “Umm, hmm.”
“You ain’t hear nothing I said, huh?”
    “Umm, hmm.”
He pulled me to him and said, “Get some sleep sweetness. Lock up behind me.”
I nodded my head and he kissed my forehead. Once he opened the door, he peeked out, then close it behind him. I locked all the locks and shuffled back to bed. It was Saturday, I had a date and I needed an outfit. That was my last thought before I drifted.
A few hours later, that same thought jolted me awake.
“Shit, I have nothing to wear.” I hoarsely gasped as I sat up suddenly in the bed.

D’asia
“ M rs. Henry , are you busy today?” I asked, while adjusting the phone on my shoulder.
“No, honey. What’s going on? Is everything alright?” Her normally high voice was much higher.
“No, no. Everything is fine. I, uh, have a date and wanted to know if you would go shopping with me. I don’t have anything to wear and, uh, I’m on a tight budget.”
“Oh, D’asia. You have a date. Wow, honey. Oh sure, come on over and we’ll go right away.”
    I smiled.
She was always so sweet and honest. I always said, she’d cut you with a smile. It might hurt, but it wasn’t from a place of malice, meaning it would heal nicely.
Quickly, I headed over to her house. Mr. Henry was there too. After I had walked in, he smiled at me and said, “Date? Huh? Anybody I know.” I opened my mouth
